YUMBOX (Pomme Green) Leakproof Bento Lunch Box Container for Kids

Good quality product that does what it promises -- the food stays put and nothing leaks (albeit I have not used it with liquids, only thick yogurt, hummus and such). The outer and inner boxes are breeze to clean. Washed in dishwasher on two occasions only -- so time will tell how it will hold up. I knocked one star off for the completely unnecessary 'labels' on the bottom of the compartment -- 'grains', 'fruit' and so on. They are confusing for a child if you put other things in the compartment, and a bit of an annoyance when you make a shift to a particular diet or a meal plan, like going grain-free.

Bought this for my son who was starting preschool and I absolutely love it. The sections are all labeled so I never forget to pack all of the food groups (his school is super strict about that) and they're all about the right size for the portions he needs. My only complaint, and it's something that drives me absolutely nuts, is the lip that goes around the outside of the insert tray. Every time we wash it water invariably gets inside that lip and then never dries out. I'm always concerned it's going to cause mold on the inside. A relatively minor flaw but definitely an annoying one.

Absolutely an answer to my prayers! My son is 1 1/2 years old and can open this lunch box. We use it at preschool everyday. He is a picky eater and the compartments provide enough variety. The picture on the bottom remind me to keep his meal balanced. I don't know how other parents with children in the early independent phase deal without this! I wish there were additional insert trays for meal prep but its easy to clean so no real complaints.

I love these boxes I just wish they were slightly larger to hold more food for when my kids get a little older. They help me ensure that I pack the right foods for lunches and keep everything separate. Pretzels stay crispy and I don't need additional bags to keep things from going soggy.

The Yumbox is amazing (and beautiful, too). The portions are just right for my preschooler, but I will certainly be ordering the four compartment model in a year or so as he grows. Even when the fridge and cabinets are looking bare, I can still throw things together & this Yumbox makes it look appealing. Also great for kiddos (and grown up!) who don't like when their food touches. It REALLY is leak proof, too (I was a skeptic at first)!!Also, Yumbox has proven to be a wonderful company and they really stand by their products and customers.

Was afraid this wouldn't be large enough for my 4 year old but it holds A LOT of food! & its leakproof as stated double plus! I can put chicken noodle soup and jello and the liquids stay put no matter how much a shake it around.

Perfect size for preschool and kindergarteners. The latch is large and easy enough for children to open and close without help. It will fit in a small toddler sized backpack or diaper bag. Easy to clean, cute design and good quality! Tip- put a sticker on top so your child doesn't open it upside down.

My kids love their Yumboxes. I was worried they'd be a tad heavy for them, but they kids don't mind at all. We hand was the outer box and usually place the inner trays on the top drawer of the dishwasher. The hinge broke off the 1st one we owned, but Yumbox was great at giving us a free replacement latch with instructions on how to replace it.
