Clickbait Hoodie

My daughter and I were browsing through sweatshirts for her birthday in November and ended up ordering four... The "clickbait" sweatshirt was so cute that I tried it on right away, didn't wash it and had nothing on underneath. Just sweatshirt to skin. Do NOT do this, people! Somehow, idk how, there was a tick packaged in and with the sweatshirt. And it burrowed into the back of my neck. Obviously I didn't notice in the moment. But I loved the sweatshirt so much that I kept it on and wore it all day. A couple days later, actually Thanksgiving morning, I woke up soo very incredibly sick and my daughter took me to hospital. On the back of my neck I had the perfect "target" red ring circle that is CLASSIC for LYME disease that was also covered in giant blisters. And I've been battling it ever since. It's completely ruined my entire Christmas season. I've had 3 trips to hospital since and STILL to this day I am overwhelming sick with Lyme disease & still have parts of tick embedded in my neck. Have to see an infectious disease Dr in Jan. So, people, my advice to you..... NEVER try on merchandise without first washing it or at least wearing a full length turtleneck shirt underneath. Because you just never know what might be packaged with your item. A tick is so small and can literally ruin your life.
