These are genuine saffrons because of the smell, taste and test. Most of the strands retain its original shape. However there are some stands broken up or are shorter. The colors are dark red with variation. Slight orange yellow tips are there.The aroma is potent. Infusion in water is slow, yellow and clear. There should be a yellow aura around the saffron as it infuse.This saffron is great for brewing tea and cooking.Quite happy with the quality and purchase.

This is a gratuitous serving of saffron. A pinch of Spanish Saffron from my grocery store is more costly than this and of inferior quality. The canister gives a large amount . The smell is mesmerizing great for tea and other foods great in fish and salmon dishes.I will buy this again.

I do not think this authentic, the flavor tastes mettalic. It gives some color, but then again i can get that with food coloring.

The saffron smells authentic and natural. The color test also confirms its real saffron. The color is deep red and good quality.
