We recommend using Lilova at home first on the heaviest day of your period, to know how it works for your flow. Care Instructions: 1. Rinse immediately after use under cold water until it runs clear 2. Now or later, machine-wash (separately or with the rest of your laundry) on cold cycle without using fabric softener 3. Hang dry. We are committed to empower women and teens around the world and improve their self-confidence. Lilova underwear allow women to feel good in their body while on their period, fresh throughout the day, and safe of leaks and odors. Zero waste is our goal! The average woman uses between 10,000 and 15,000 pads and tampons in her life. A regular tampon or pad requires ~ 500-800 years to decompose. In the USA only, over 20 billion used menstrual products end up in our landfills every year. Make the switch to reusable! And you can save money: on average a woman spends nearly $270 on period products every year, the same amount as 10 pairs of Lilova.

Great idea, poor quality
SIZINGI did note that these panties "fit as expected". The seller suggested I go down a size for the thong. I bought this pair (and another) that were sized medium. I typically wear size 6 pants.PURPOSELilova is intended to give freedom and versatility to that time of the month by eliminating or decreasing the need for other forms of protection/absorption. I prefer a menstrual disc on my heaviest days and all lilova products I tried were great at containing overflow. I LOVE the concept. I have not (and do not intend to) tested how much the products can contain.QUALITYI had a negative experience with the thong and was influenced negatively about the brand as a result. After several months of use the bikini and this hipster are both still quality products. The hipster is so comfortable and sexy considering they are my period panties for bed; however, they are not comfortable for day wearing. The thickness and shape do not stay where I want them to with walking. I'm reviewing them based on their purpose for me, which is why I'm giving 5 stars. What an upgrade from where I was - this is way better than cotton granny panties!CLEANINGI followed all instructions. In my experience, you must assist the rinsing process by squeezing the material to remove menses. I didn't notice any difference in rinsing day of or waiting until laundry day.WEARThe product has a padded feel. Also like wearing a thick bathing suit, but with padding. It feels weird to the touch, but not noticeable when wearing. My husband hasn't commented on noticing it either so I'll call that a win! After several months of use, I'm still happy with this product!

Did the job - felt like I was wearing a diaper
First off, I used these in conjunction with a cup so I was not having it catch everything but instead provide backup protection to whatever might leak from the cup during the heaviest days. On that point it did as was expected. However I felt like I was wearing a diaper the entire time. It wasn't comfortable. And after only one wash per manufacturer instructions the little elastic threads started pulling from the edges. I will probably continue using this because I *have* to but it is not an improvement for me really over the cotton granny panties and large pad that I had been using. Check out the reviews for the bikini bottom option of this same brand though! That thing is amazing.

Does not hold up in the wash but good enough
When I first put these on today felt like an absolute luxury item. With one wash then exactly as directed on the tag they have stretched out send out and the Lacy stretchy string is coming off. Still usable probably not for long. Definitely err on buying a smaller size.

Good product
A little small but it’s stretchy enough that no exchange would be necessary

Meh
Disappointed. Got these to be safe. Too big, I had no choice but to wear them and now stuck with uncomfortable panties.

Great for value
Works well for price. Dye constantly bleeds in wash so I make sure to wash with darks or by hand.I especially like that the pad goes all the way to the back for a longer coverage over night.

Would give 3.5 stars
I was looking for a less expensive alternative to Th!nx underwear as a back-up for using a menstrual cup. As I have yet to have regular success with said cup (they all seem to leak a LOT) I needed something that was absorbent and not just a light barrier. This was one of the very few on Amazon that advertised that they would hold two tampons' worth of blood, which is the equivalent of the aforementioned brand. That being said, these are an okay knock off. The fabric feels kind of cheap and the interior lining seems a bit bulky, especially in the rear. They are also really noisy, even under denim. For back-up absorbency they worked fine. I can't comment on how they would work alone.I will give them credit for accurate sizing. I bought these before there were any reviews. Knowing that a lot of these brands run small I bought a size larger than recommended. Bad move. They are a bit lose around the legs and bunch up in the back quite a bit under leggings. I would hope that had I purchased them in the proper size that would not be an issue. So, definitely follow the sizing chart as it is right on.I will probably not wear these on a regular basis. I will likely only wear them at night if, for some reason, all of the pairs of my other brand underwear are in the laundry at the same time. They aren't terrible, but aren't really as well-made as some other brands.

It Feels Like You Aren't Even On Your Period!
These panties are amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect as I'd never used period panties before, however I do use cloth pads and love reusable products so I was all for trying the Lilova Period Panties!! The panties themselves are very soft and comfortable. They aren't bulky at all so you don't feel like you're wearing a diaper. You really can't feel them any more than "regular" panties. The absorbent material extends all the way up the back of the panties and almost to the top in the front, but again, you can't feel it, it's thin yet highly absorbent! My flow is fast and furious, very heavy and these panties held up on the heaviest of heavy flow. I am definitely impressed! There was absolutely no leaking.Because the panties are black there's no worries about staining and they are so easy to care for as well! I rinse mine after use and throw them in with my regular laundry. If you aren't washing right away you can buy a waterproof wetbag to store them until you wash them, which work great.I loved wearing mine because it felt like I wasn't even on my period! Especially when going to bed! It feels very freeing not to have to worry about changing a pad or tampon, or worry about leaks in random spots from moving around while sleeping.I highly recommend the Lilova period panties. I received my Lilova Panties in exchange for my honest product review which can be seen at Jess Is Blessed on YouTube.
