This was a great value I feel! I was really excited to get it and couldn’t wait for it to arrive! My daughters loved it immediately. I didn’t even realize the puzzle mat is double sided with the city/roads on one side and animals on the other. That made me love it more. The container doubles as a shape sorter. It comes in a sturdy blue cloth drawstring bag that you could store separately if you wanted to and then use the sturdy container to store other toys. So far I just have it in it’s original container so my daughter knows what’s in it.The downs:The blocks were smaller than I imagined they would be. So it’s not a good set for my baby (9mo) to play alongside with my toddler. It does say age 3+ on the packaging. So pieces are a choking hazard. My little just wanted to chew on them and just in the short time she handled them and naked there were bite marks already showing. Don’t know for sure yet but worried the paint will chip quickly with normal play. We’ll see.Down: the PUZZLE MAT is so dang THIN and DOESN'T STAY TOGETHER. My toddler can play nicely but also can get crazy. If yours plays rough I’d be afraid of what’s going to happen to the puzzle!! Like a usual puzzle you can put it together and then flip it over even carefully and it stays together. You CAN NOT do that with this! You have to reassemble piece by piece! So that was annoying. As my toddler can’t assemble on her own. That has me bummed that she can just take out a mat and start playing and building on it. But on the good side if you think about it- it’s like a game. Building the puzzle is part of the game. They should probably name it a game.For the company: Please make the puzzle thicker and sturdier so it stays together! Or at least offer an edging that you can slide the puzzle into that keeps it in place!! I was thinking of trying to find something clear to put over it that makes it into like a table. But glass is obviously not safe for children.Despite the flimsy puzzle, I still love the set overall. The pieces are really cute and I love the colors. The cars are adorable and I hope sturdy for long lasting play! My daughter loves it and she is 27mo.

Pro:Shapes are very Colorful and clearly labeled and nice to play with.Bucket it comes with holds all the pieces fine and is sturdy enough for reuse (my daughter sat on it with no issues)All shapes and items are in the same ratio.Tons of pieces to keep kids entertained, my daughter has been nonstop since I got it.Comes with a puzzle that is laminated and has two different pictures on each side for different play themes. *Space saving, when it is collected together.The shear amount does help keep it imaginative for the kids.Cons:Kind of a little small for kids to play with, I added a pic of an iPhone plug and a different square toy I also purchased from amazon to give a size comparison (Listed below)The bag it comes with holds all the pieces but it doesn’t straddle the container which would be helpful when using the sorting lid into the bucket.I’m not a fan of the puzzle it came with as a child will wear It out rather fast, I think a folded cloth type of map would have been better served* (I also put this a Pro)Some of the pieces were not shaped correctly, you can see a corner missing from the purple square (pic attached) however I think it adds character to the toy set. However, some imperfections were found and noted.While just barley big enough to not be a choking hazard, A child could fit a piece in their mouth and give you a good scare (I have a 2yr old)Neutral: Made in China, not a bad thing as many good and bad items are made there but its more buyer information. I did wipe down all the pieces with a disinfecting wipe prior to letting my daughter play with them.Sorting lid doesn’t sort all the pieces, but you can slide in the pieces that doesn’t adhere to the shape.Made out of PlywoodOverall If I could give a half star rating I would give it 3.5 but I am rounding it up to 4 for the fun factor. Honestly if they had a bit more quality control and increased the size of the shapes just a bit more they would have a really popular toy. PRO TIP: Lay out a blanket on the floor and sit your kid along with the blocks on top of it. Tell them that if any of the blocks come out of the blanket, it'll get taken away. When it comes time to clean up, all you have to do is lift up the blanket to gather all of them and pour it all back into the bucket. Works with Legos/Duplos as well. You're welcome :)If you've ever wanted to get a whole bucket of blocks, this is a great deal. I'm not sure if you could even get it at this price if you made them all yourself from 2x4s and paint. It's a WHOLE BUCKET OF BLOCKS!Granted, if your kids end up losing half of them, there are still a lot of blocks leftover.These are quality, there's no reason they won't last forever. Even if you step on them, your foot is no match for these blocks.They're great for learning and creativity, they even float but that is probably not so good of an idea.

This block set was an amazing chance find for us and we plan to buy it again for gifts in the future. Our daughter (19 months) is just starting to get into building with blocks but she loves sorting the different items (all the vehicles with wheels, all the trees, all the arches, etc) and we play with her and build (and knockdown) towers, spell her name, etc. The colors are beautiful and vibrant while still being calm and neutral (a true miracle if you are like me and overwhelmed by the bright and flashy nature of all children's toys). I'm excited to see how she plays with it as she grows. That's one of our priorities when purchasing toys (that she can play differently with the same item at different ages) and we feel like we are only just beginning to enjoy these blocks with her.

These are precious and my grand daughter loves them.
