Steamy
My overall purchase of this product was good the product actually came earlier than it said it would there was no damages on the book in fact it looked like they freshly bought it and then sold it right afterThis actual manga is a really good manga I used to read when I was a little girl though I would not say this books for kids there’s a lot of steamy inappropriate scenes that unless you want your child to have an early introduction onto how babies are made wouldn’t recommend but for anybody looking for a vampire conflicted cold man who is experiencing love for the first time and not with just anybody but A human which he despises and thinks only as food and this is a story for you I personally love when a girl character captures the bad boy that was unattainable there’s some love conflict in this series too overall it’s a very exciting book and I can’t wait to get the third one

Liked It
This did bother me a little in terms of the toxic masculinity and how the heroine was treated by the main love interest. But it did have a slow burn aspect that I adored and it was super steamy and sexy. Just want I needed and wanted when I needed and wanted it.

Very good
~4/5[More of my reviews are available on my blog, Geeky Reading, to which there's a link on my profile.]I am really enjoying this series. It’s so much better than I thought it’d be.Kaya is getting so caught up in her feelings for Kyohei. She doesn’t take forever to realize it, though, which I appreciated. And then she doesn’t take forever to do something about it, either. It’s so refreshing seeing a female character doing something about her feelings, not hiding from them. On the other hand Kyohei is running from his, in total denial. And while I’m sure that there’s still going to be drama related to it, it seems like Kaya is realizing how he feels, as well. It’s a definite step in the right direction, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes from here. Also, there was some actual smut in this volume, and that was nice. Then there’s the whole work part of the story, and how Kaya focuses on her job, is good at it, and is firm about doing it. That’s so nice to see, and I really like that Kaya doesn’t waver about any of it, because it’s important to her, and she will win that argument against Kyohei.Their whole characters and dynamic is refreshing to me, I guess, since I see so much more of the weak, malleable heroine. There’s still quite a bit to explore in this series, I think, including their pasts and their relationship developing even more.I’m looking forward to the next volume, and am enjoying having the releases bimonthly a whole lot.

Guilty pleasure
My favorite guilty pleasure read in manga. "Midnight Secretary Vol 2" picks up where vol 1 left off in that Kyohei has had a taste of his perfect secretary's blood and of course, of course, it is the tastiest of all. That doesn't mean he's stopped his carousing and male-chauvo ways because he is a vampire after all but Kaya provides a grumpy counter to his bull dozing ways. In the meantime, she meets Kyohei's mother and finds out a bit more of his vampire lineage. This is the volume where we get the good sexy soapy scenario as Kaya is forced to leave Kyohei's employ but we still get what will be possessive Kyohei's "You're mine" blather and well, she kinda is.It is fun and regressive and doesn't even bother hiding it. If you don't like the tongue-in-cheek retro gender politics or macho puffery is a turn off, then this is the volume where you may check out, but to me, it is just a lot of fun because there is a subversive quality to it and also, Kaya continues to win me over.

Work is Work
And so, the romance and brut reality sets in. Of course that doesn't stop her from doing her job even if it's a challenge. The storyline, visual presentation and overall the delivery of each page was well done. I look foward to reading more volumes of the Midnight Secretary series!

A good read
I liked this book as much as the first. You won't be disappointed if you enjoyed the first volume. In this book Katozuka leaves the company where the Director, Mr Kyohei works...I don't want to give anything away so I won't say any more.

After reading the first volume I became hooked. The graphics are great, the story line is intriguing and keeps you guessing. If you like your non-typical vampire/human romance I would definitely recommend giving these a go.
