Super Buy!
I purposely bought a large for my medium frame to layer it on colder days, and it still drapes nicely down and does not look sloppy. The sleeves are therefore a little long, but I like it that way so I can scoot in my fingers on colder or rainy days. I imagine if I got a medium, it would fit nicely if I didn't want the extra space for layering. The colour is a tad darker rose than in the photo, but still very beautiful. And the outer fabric really has a sort of coating on it because I splashed some porridge on it this morning, and it came off with swipe of a damp paper towel without even leaving a wet spot! And it really is breathable and water and wind resistant -- I've been out in the sleet and wind with it.Some people have said the hood is a funky shape -- I figured it out: when you tighten it so that wind or rain can't get in behind your face, the front sticks out, sort of like a baseball cap, which actually makes it a better rain/snow protector for your eyes.I have a feeling this is going to become my new favourite jacket! LOVE IT> LOVE IT>LOVE IT!

I like it
Got it today and gave it a tryout before the snowstorm hit. With a sweatshirt under it is warm enough as it does a good job of breaking the wind. It will be perfect as a spring and fall jacket and even rainy summer nights. It's a nice chocolate brown. I did order it one size bigger than normal and it fits perfectly. I like that the sleeves have a Velcro wrist band or the sleeves would be long for my shorty arms. The pockets are plenty deep and have zippers. The inside pocket has a little slit for headphone wires. The inside lining is black and looks good with the brown. The hood is detachable with a zipper which I like.Glad I bought it.

Please make a warm version of this. It's just ...
I purchased this jacket for a specific purpose: I work in a moderately dirty environment and it gets cold. I had two criteria for a jacket: a feminine cut and something that repels oils and grease. This meets those criteria very well. I also had hopes that it might keep me warm enough to enjoy wearing it and also be flexible enough to move around in. This jacket does not fit the secondary criteria very well. Please make a warm version of this. It's just not warm enough. It's one thin-ish layer unlined- the type of construction where you can feel all the seams on the inside of the jacket. I wear it in 60ยฐ weather and it's barely enough even when I'm wearing a work shirt under and moving around. Certainly not cozy warm. The men's dickies choices are so much more extensive.

Decent piece for the price
Delivery on time. The jacket meets at my hip and has some draw cords to keep it there. It feels like every high end technical soft shell I have owned. There are a couple of design flaws like the direction the velcro closures are operating in the cuffs- close towards the inside of the wrist. They should close toward the outside of the wrist. The hood and collar zipper should have been better designed as to not be exposed as much when the hood is open. I wont be using the hood much because of that. All the being said- can't really beat the price for the performance of the piece, which is water and wind resistant. Tried and true.

Okay jacket, great price
I bought this hoping it would work as an outer layer on intense hikes in the winter. It's not quite warm enough for that, plus it's not quite wicking/breathable enough to wear it for active wear. However, since I only paid around $20 for it, I have kept it to use as a casual outer layer for fall/spring. It does a good job of repelling water, and the deep hood is nice to keep the rain off your face. It does run quite small - I usually wear an 8 top, but I went up to a large to have room for layering. It fits very close, even with regular clothes under it. I have worn it over a heavy fleece on blustery days, and it just fits. So do size up.

Great jacket
I like this jacket a lot. It seems to be well made, and is water resistant as promised. It looks nice on the outside and is soft on the inside, making it less necessary to wear a fleece or something underneath it over a t-shirt. It is very easy to wipe off dirt on the outside without having to wash it. I love that the hood is removable and that all of the pockets are zippered. I normally wear an extra small but ordered a small as they didn't offer extra small, and while it is slightly large it isn't too much so.

Almost perfect
I wanted a jacket w/ a hood, wind & rain resistant. I had selected 4 jackets to choose from and decided the Dickies Hooded jacket would fit the requirements. This jacket is very wind & rain resistant just like it says. Nice big hood & love the color. For a womens jacket, it's to short. It comes right to my wait so all my shirts hang below it. If you have a long mid section or extra "love" handles probably not a good choice for you. Just an extra inch in length & I would make it a 5 star jacket.

Warm, waterproof
The description is pretty accurate. The size (I ordered 2xl) seems pretty true to size, if maybe a tad smaller due to the fitted shape of the jacket. I am short and love where the jacket hits, at mid hip. The back is one solid piece of fabric, so can feel a little tight across the shoulders. The outer fabric is rubbery, but not uncomfortable or noisy. The lining is soft. The hood does not really fit in the collar without having a large cervical roll instead of a collar. I don't care though, it will just hang or I will take it off if needed. Overall pretty happy with it.
