Google Nest GA00426US Hub Max with Google Assistant

I had multiple Google Assistant based devices already in my home, and I added the Nest Hub Max to replace the smaller 7" Nest Hub in my kitchen. We have speaker only Google Assistant devices (original Google Home and Google Home Minis) in other areas of our home, but we want the screen in the kitchen for watching YoutTube TV, answering the Nest Hello doorbell, and to act as a digital photo frame. The increase in screen size from the Nest Hub to the Nest Hub Max has made a big improvement to all of those. I'm thinking of buying another to replace the current "dumb" digital photo frame in our living room. Plus, the sound on the larger Nest Hub Max is much better than it is on the 7" Nest Hub. We don't really use the camera much, but I did connect to my Nest account and it looks looks very good.

We already had outdoor Nest cameras and a Nest thermostat, so when deciding which connected home system to purchase, we went with Google. Terrible mistake. We were gifted multiple Google Home Minis, and we waited anxiously for the release of the Hub Max which we purchased the day it was released. My boyfriend and I are both tech-savvy, and neither of us could get the Hub Max to work with our other devices. Now, after five or six nights spent trying to complete the setup, we've had to delete and recreate all our accounts, still nothing works together, and our previously problem-free Nest cameras and thermostat are offline and not working. The Hub Max will work alone, but then all the other devices yell "LOG IN TO CONNECT TO YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT" whenever we try to use the Hub Max. Biggest headache ever. Wish we could return it all. Nothing like spending $1000+ to have nothing work and to lose your security cameras and thermostat control all in the process. DO NOT BUY.
