Twelve Butterfly Bookmarks (Dover Bookmarks) Paperback – June 25, 2001

These twelve individual bookmarks make the perfect gift for anyone who loves to still hold a real book in their hands, and turn page after page. As a lover of Kindle, I find I still miss the feel of turning the pages of paper associated with a good book, and placing a bookmark between the pages when I'm ready to quit for the evening. Consequently I still buy books and keep my stash of bookmarks close at hand. With these butterfly ones you can laminate them (if you wish), add a hole at the top to fasten a ribbon, or an ornate piece of floss with a bead attached, and create one of a kind gifts for your friends, or keep one or two for yourself. They are printed on a good quality paper and the butterflies are colorful. Great craft idea or favor for a book club meeting, or shower gift.

These are very pretty, colorful, and have the butterfly's names on the back of each bookmark, but they are short- only 5 3/4" long. I plan on having them laminated so hopefully will make them a little longer. They come in a book with 4 to a page, so they are perforated too, so I plan on using my paper cutter on them to eliminate the perforated sides. But these are well worth the price.

I was a little disappointed because I thought these bookmarks were longer, instead of being very short in length, which is good if you are reading a short paperback. Otherwise, they would get lost in a larger book. However artistically, these bookmarks are detailed, beautiful, and very colorful. And if you do not mind that they are short, you will be very pleased with this purchase.

These are beautiful bookmarks. Each bookmark has several butterflies pictured on it, and the scientific name of each on the back. They come in a small book, and need to be cut apart on the long line. They are serrated and can be taken apart, but cutting leaves a smoother edge. The front has a hard glaze on it. Each bookmark is 5 3/4" long, and a little over 2 inches wide.I recommend them.

I bought these for a Mother's day goody bag for some of the ladies at church. Perfect little addition and something they would remember from the day for a while.

My wife loved them. She is a crafter and will probably embelish and laminate them. They'll be even finer and last even longer. It's a nice inexpensive way to say I'm thinking of you, dear.

Fun bookmarks for the kids. The colors are vivid, and the insects look so real, some kids don't even want to touch them. Just tear apart, or cut them out of the booklet. Great to give out at the library, at parties, gifts, or in cards to kids.
