Sun and Moon Hardcover – Picture Book, April 15, 2015

I use this book every school year. My kiddos always love it!

This is one of the most beautiful and poetic books I have ever read. We first got it from the library and I knew as I starting reading it that I had to OWN it. I wanted to read it over and over again and gaze at the lovely illustrations. My son loves the details and naming the characters as they are being tucked into bed. It is truly a work of art and poetic mastery. I have read 100s of picture books (and write myself), so I know when a book truly stands out. This book stands tall!

It's a great book to share with kids teaching them the importance of appreciating what they have and that it's all about perspective!

My daughter is fascinated by the moon right now, so I bought this books as a gift. The illustrations are gorgeous and the theme of appreciating what you have was sincere.

Great story and illustrations. I had hoped to gift it but there were to many used stickers and stamps. I little disappointed.

Lindsey Yankey is a wonderful new author, and I hope she keeps writing!!

We adore this book! The illustrations are beautiful and the message of the story is an important one for my kids (and me). We have one of her other books (Bluebird) and she has become one of my favorite children authors and illustrators.

This is such a gorgeous book! The poetic illustrations complement beautifully the spirit of the story. I wish I could get lost inside each page.
