INNOVA Firebird, 165-175 Grams, Disc Golf Driver, Modern, Multi Color

I really like this disc in Star plastic. I've had a Gstar Firebird for years now, but didn't use it until recently. Turns out it's a great disc for my forehand throw, so I bought a Star Firebird. I can turn this over easily when I throw it sidearm, which is normal for me, but it's over stable enough that it wants to come back, so I get a nice s-curve. When I throw it backhand, it comes out straight, with a predictable, heavy left fade. Great for long heizers. I also recommend Star plastic for beginners. As someone who's played for years, but never often enough to get really, really good, Innova Star discs are still my most used.

Not the same star plastic, more understable than stable. Halo plastic is better and more stable for forehand throwers.

Great disc overall. Lost a star because I was hoping it would be a flat star firebird (no description available) for forehand throws, this disc is the domey version.

If you want a disc that you can throw straight into a headwind and have it fight turnover the whole way then this is the disc. Lower glide means lower distance so don't expect max distance from this disc, but what it's meant to do it does very well.
