So we were literally heading out the door to drive 6 hours away when my desertcart package arrived. Perfect timing. I was afraid it would take a long set up or need wifi to update or something. However after I turned it on I set the time to GPS time and entered the location and mounted it to the windshield with the included hardware and away we went. This is the way it should work. Very happy. We've used it a few times and there are some backwoods mountain areas where the GPS veers off the highway a bit, but never for more than 30 seconds and it doesn't affect my driving. The only thing I would recommend is if we could dim the screen even more. Driving at night, even at the lowest setting, the screen is pretty bright so it's not a super smooth transition going from the GPS unit to the dark road. That's my only critique. Otherwise it works well as advertised. Touch screen is responsive and perfect size. Less than $60. Do you have any idea what our forefathers had to do for navigation??? Thanks so much. Oh, the default speed limit warning was annoying but I quickly turned it off. Never had to look at the instruction manual which is nice when the software is intuitive and self explanatory. Review: This product is a scam and the people selling it should be arrested for fraud - The product took ages to get because the seller didn't take the time to put my apartment number on the box. In the end I had to go at my own expense to pick it up. The seller never even replied when I asked him if he put my apartment number on the label. Even though desertcart were paid by me to deliver it. The product is a total scam. Even desertcart set up a false engineer phonecall service, but when I put in number it would not recognize it, surprise surprise. I want my money back. No updates, no support, no downloadable maps, just a few demo maps. Then the battery became useless and the product needs to be plugged in all the time. All over the net people are asking HOW DO I UPDATE MY NAVRUF GPS. This company should be banned. I'm really not exaggerating, it's the worst. Don't waste your time or money on it. They deserve to go out of business . The product does not work as advertised. Its basically a piece of crap. No side available to install maps. It is completely useless. The photo shows NAVRUF support page, as you can see it's a total scam. The website indicated in the manual is in disrepair with Videos removed from YouTube. The map upgrades have a description of skycams... **Q: i want to know if i can just sit it on the dashboard without it falling off.** A: Probably not, unless you have a glass smooth, probably plastic, area that the suction cup will adhere too. In my case I used double sticky tap to put a smooth piece of plastic in the area I wanted the GPS. It has been working well for a couple of months. Love the unit by the way. Better then the old Garmin that I had. **Q: Does it receive signal from Satellite or ground signal transmit tower? Does it work in yellow stone park?** A: Of course, the device has a built-in GPS signal chip, so it can be used without data traffic. **Q: How can I get offroad maps such as forest roads?** A: Return it and get a new one would be your best bet like a whole new brand cuz this thing is garbage ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast set up, accurate, great price point *by D***N on November 25, 2020* There were so many GPS units to look at on Amazon- I basically selected the highest rated one even though I secretly felt more comfortable with a Garmin unit because I use a Garmin running watch and it's fantastic. I WANT MY MONEY BACK WARNING DO NOT BUY NAVRUF GPS NAVI ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Accurate, outstanding quality and ease of use on this GPS. *by M***B on November 5, 2020* Updating my review: I’ve now been using the GPS since October and am still loving it. It’s provided more accurate directions than either of the maps apps I have on my phone. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this. Spend $57.00 on this very options-filled GPS or spend an extra $2000.00 to have a factory GPS in your vehicle when you buy it. There’s nothing to not like about this GPS. The touch screen is as good as the touch screen in my girlfriend’s Denali Acadia and it responds as fast if not faster. The suction mount for the dash keeps it securely in place and it doesn’t vibrate when on a bumpy road. It also has a shroud that covers the sides and root to keep any sun glare out. The screen is nice and bright and a perfect size for an add-on GPS. I’m amazed at the quality and sturdiness of it. I figured I wouldn’t get much for $57.00 but it was to my surprise that I was way wrong. I’m buying a few more for my family members that do t already have one. I would highly recommend this to anyone even thinking about buying a GPS for their vehicle because you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was when you get it. What a great add-on for my Ford Edge! ## Frequently Bought Together - GPS Navigation for Car （9 Inch） Slimline Touch Screen Real Voice Direction ，USA Edition 2025 (Free Lifetime Updates) Turn-by-Turn Voice and Lane Guidance, Speed and Red Light Warning (American Brand) - 1Zero GPS Suction Cup Mount for Garmin [Quick Extension Arm], Replacement GPS Dash Ball Mount Dashboard Windshield Car Holder for Garmin Nuvi Dezl Drive Drivesmart Zumo Driveassist DriveLuxe RV - GPS Dash Mount [Matte Black Dock] for Garmin Nuvi Drive Dezl Drivesmart, Tomtom, Magellan Roadmate, Rand McNally, Navman, Cell Phone - Car Adhesive Non-Slip Dashboard Replacement Holder for Satnav --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/156143861-gps-navigation-for-car-9-inch-slimline-touch-screen-real](https://www.desertcart.be/products/156143861-gps-navigation-for-car-9-inch-slimline-touch-screen-real) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
