Solid construction and quality
Stand has a solid base (perfect weight for stability and mobility).Grip style lever for sliding mic height (up and down) very smooth and miles above any knob-turning style.Have read where vibration could be an issue with solid base stands vs. tripod base styles, but have not witnessed any vibration interference as it has been placed on concrete, vinyl tile, and wood flooring situations.I’ll be purchasing more from this company; it’s worth the money!Well done.

We shall see
Bought this to replace another brand of clutch mic stand, of which I've bought three. We've only used this one a few times. It is very well built, has a larger round base making it less easy to knock over. Im hoping the clutch lasts. Husband is real pleased with it. I'm tired of buying mic stands.

Very convenient and sturdy
I really like this microphone stand. Used it for a couple of programs so far and has been very sturdy. I think the push to raise feature is very genius. No need to un-tighten something to move the stand up or down. With just one hand you can raise the microphone. The only thing I would comment on would be that the base is a little wide. I understand its good for stability, but i would like to see it with maybe a heavier but smaller diameter base. But thats just a minor issue, other than that its great

Not as durable as advertised. Broke quickly and is now unusable.
Appeared sturdy at first but with my unit the grip lock broke almost immediately leaving it unable to lock when extended. I thought "cool, whatever, I can just hold it." After one gig like that the stem broke from the base. Used metal adhesive glue to make it last to finish our run but even that couldnt fix it. There are cheaper stands with the same functionality, I would recommend trying those first before spending this much money.

Good solid base, paired with heavy duty clamp arm can support iPad well
Supports iPad in application of remote learning lessons. Heavy duty clamp attached to the upper adjustable portion works well, and the one-handed adjustment makes height adjustment trivial but still sturdy. Heavy wide base with nice flat surface. I don't know if it's fully "pro" grade, in the sense that you would give this to the Rolling Stones or a busy karaoke bar, but it's better than low consumer grade. You can buy a lot of similar units for 1/2 to 2/3 the price, but they tend to have crappier bases and I would gladly buy this same unit again and probably will.

Awesome! Expect a Lifetime of Use
I absolutely love this stand! I have ordered other brands in previous years, only to discover Gator stands just recently. Now I wish I had known about these stands earlier!! Not too late, though, as I have begun using this and two other Gator Frameworks stands-a GFW-MIC-0821 bass drum mic stand and an ID Series Tripod Mic Stand with Boom Arm that I recently ordered, and put the existing stands to other, less rugged use. One of my kids said, "wow, Pop, these things are monsters!" Indeed. They are clearly so sturdy and rugged that I easily expect them to last a lifetime. I highly recommend these stands. They are more than worth the price!

Awesome Mic Stands
I am so happy with these mic stands. The bases are wide andheavy, the stands are steady, and they are easy to adjust. Similar, cheaper stands feel less sturdy and break easily - not these. I highly recommend them. I will buy more.

Heavy, heavy-duty and substamtial
This came without the weighted base that the microphone pole screws into. I checked to make sure that this should have been included and I ordered it again and the re-order contained the weighted base.
