Beautiful and easily assembled.
Installed this over double garage on brick. It turned out just like I was hoping. Easy to clean and added the needed character to our home. Looking to purchase another for our new house

Great looking installation - just don't follow the instructions for the 18 foot model.
I looked at this product for about a year before I purchased it. Was worried about how it would look, was it made well, would it be a nightmare to install? I installed it yesterday in my stucco wall and it took about 5 hours, including a trip to the hardware store to get longer lag bolts. I only needed a little help, but could have done it all myself. Just don't follow the directions in the instruction book. Here is what I did: First I located the center of the garage door and marked the site for the middle bracket. Then I assembled the main cross-bars and measured the distance from the center hole to the outside mounting holes on the bracket (you get three locations but I measured to the center one). I measured that distance from the center holes, marked the wall, then used a laser level to get a mark level at that distance (I needed a helper to do this part). i marked all three brackets, then went to the hardware store and got 3.5" stainless steel lag bolts (it comes with 2"). I first drilled through the stucco with a small masonary bit to make sure I hit wood, then used a standard bit per the directions to drill the real holes, installed the mounting brackets at all three locations, left them loose. Then laid the two large cross-members on the brackets and bolted them down. Then followed the rest of the instruction booklet from there. Like assembling Legos. The main difference is that the instruction book wants you to assemble it all then bolt it to the wall. That would be very difficult. I read that others had done it the way mentioned above and it worked really well. Looks great! Sturdy. Quality is good. I am very happy with this product.

Flimsy and Dented: Save your money
I never write negative reviews for products, but this item really warrants a warning to potential buyers. This product is truly a you-get-what-you-pay-for moment. We received this item dented due to virtually non-existent packaging protection. When we began assembling it, we found that the holes and screws were poorly made. Screws were hard to get in and impossible to screw down all the way because the housing for them just turned with the screw. This item is awful and too expensive to return.Keep looking, if you really want something that's worth buying.

Beautiful and inexpensive
I love this pergola. I was a little wary of what the aluminum would look like, but after getting estimates for a contractor to build me one, and even looking at other kits online, this was by far the cheapest option so I decided to give it a try. It really looks beautiful with my wisteria climbing over it, even better than I had hoped. One complaint - the plastic caps that are meant to go over the screw heads kept splitting when I put them on. I used the ones that didn't split on the bottom (visible) part, and spray painted the screw heads for which I didn't have caps with a shot of white outdoor spray paint.

Great product if it arrives intact!!!!
Now that my pergola is assembled and installed, I love it. It was a great bargain. However, it arrived with bent pieces; not a huge surprise, as the box was all beaten up and re-taped. The man who put it up for me was able to straighten pieces out and then I had to repaint and seal areas. As a result, some pieces were hard to put together. Holes for screws were NOT in one piece and we had to drill new ones.If parts are together correctly, the screws go in easily. Directions were a bit difficult to follow. Perspective drawings made it hard to figure out. Look carefully at the photograph for help in assembling! We used different bolts to hang the pergola, as the ones which came with it did not look long enough to hold up a 20 foot long structure. As I said, we were able to fix pieces well enough to use, but the customer should really check carefully over all the pieces to make sure they will be useable.

Great once its up!
We liked this Pergola alot but it needed some modifications in order to get it to work for us. We took the 18' and took out one section making it 12'. Painted it to match. It still needs a center support which my husband has to buy at Home Depot. The short lengths are not held onto the support frame very well. Bad design (imo) so my husband had to screw them in so they would stay put. We are happy overall because we didn't pay too much. To have a custom Pergola made would have been triple the price

Disappointed
Box was incredibly mangled. Hardware just tossed in the box loose. 10 out of 60 parts are missing.Parts list has A to L with no mention of washers. List should include A to M (to include unmentioned 6m washers. Worst order I have ever purchased though Amazon. I am missing 1 of 2- "F" Allen wrench, 2 of 8- "G" M6x90mm bolts. 2 of 12- "I" bolt lids, 1 of 4- "K" wall screw pocket and 4 of 12- of what I have classified as "M" 6m washers.I am generous with 2 stars because if I could actually assemble and install this product it might be beautiful, but since I cannot it is a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment. If the 60" order went well for over my door went well I had planned to purchase the 18' version for above my garage. Obviously the garage is going to be Pergola free for a while..

Curb appeal and personality
I bought two 10 white wall pergolas for above my garage doors. Arrived quickly and with all parts in good shape. Installation was straightforward- as described in accompanying instructions- and took the two of us about an hour and a half for both. We substituted different mounting hardware better suited to applying on fibercement siding. Results are great-- makes a big difference in the curb appeal and personality of the exterior of my urban townhouse. Am hoping the aluminum will hold up over time better than wood. Am also wondering-- has anyone tried growing vines like jasmine or bougainvillea on the metal pergola?
