Q: Can this be plugged into a regular outlet to function? Is there a lot of smoke?

Hi, in the United States, I had to hire an electrician to install the correct plug in the wall. Yes, there was a lot of smoke but I got a dryer foil type hose and put the hose out of my window but could also connect that to a dryer vent or venting but out my window it actually works great! It is a well crafted sturdy machine. It is tall and will not go under a kitchen cabinet, plus the hose that must go on the vent on top to then go out the window. It roasts 200grams, almost half a pound of coffee perfectly. I love it!!
