Demasiado buenas
- 5 estrellas

Best Combat boot I have ever had!
This boot is super light like a sneaker/tennis shoe but with great protection! Meets all the military Standards and doesn't look over the top like most Nike, Oakly, danner, Bates, and so on and so forth are getting to be! Its a Modest boot with extrodinary capability! The Price is unmatched as well! I paid $135 for a pair of Phoenix Gear boots with a Vibram sole and within 6 months there was a hole in the back of the heel (you have got to be kidding me) SMDH that is a lot of money to shell out for something that doesn't perform. These are super comforatble as well! I did a 12 mile ruck in them and only had on small blister on the top of my left big toe where the boot bends at the forend! In 6 years I have had 2 pairs and wear them every day at work and I have a deployment and I even have a few jumps on these boots and they are still kicking! I first saw these in a Surplus store outside of Ft Hood TX 2006 or 2007 for $69 (bought and loved) and they have since went up to $99 but I snagged these for $59 on sale here on Amazon! I can't stress enough how well rounded these Combat boots really are! Ditch all the expensive crap and go with what works, lasts, adhears to regs, is light, durable, and most importantly Comfortable!

Very Nice Boots
I have gone through a lot of military boots, just looking for a pair that fit my wide foot. I don't know what has happened to military jungle boots. I first came into the service 20 years ago. It seemed like every manufacturer made them correctly, and they fit right in wide, lasted long and they were 50 dollars everywhere. I am going to end my search with this boot here. I bought the Danner GTX Desert Boots in 10 2E. Those were really impressive, expensive and high quality boots, but the 2E was not wide enough to get my foot into the boots. I have had several pairs of Belleville boots military boots. I find them to be too heavy, and my back hurts at the end of a day. Belleville also seems to have some wild size variations between the different models of their boots, and that is frustrating. I have had several pairs of Wellco desert jungle boots that did not last vary long. On one pair of these boots, I tore up the interior very quickly. On another pair I had, they permanently changed color when I got them wet. After this, the leather never recovered, and became crinkly. So, for boots that come in wide, I was between these Classic 9's and another set of Bates Durashocks. I have had great experiences with Bates Durashocks, and their wide fit is excellent. I just do not understand why the Durashocks are so expensive now. They certainly do not have the quality of the Danner boots I returned. (near 200 dollars) In my opinion, as much as I like Bates, nothing they make should cost over 100 dollars. To give you an idea of the wide width I am looking for, I wear New Balance gym shoes that come in 4E width, and Dunham dress shoes that also come in 4E. I had a pair of Magnum Stealth II boots that I loved. They came in regular or wide, except that their version of wide was luxuriously wide enough. These Classic 9s come in regular or wide also. Unfortunately, they do not offer triple wide or 4E sizes. Holding my foot to the bottom of the sole, my foot is almost a quarter inch wider than the boot itself. While this scared me at first, the way the boot is cut nothing is rubbing or stabbing me in the widest part of my foot, and they give a little right where I need it. These boots are a lot lighter than Bellevilles or Durashocks, and yet they have a really sturdy and springy feel to them. For 80 dollars, I am going to try and break them in a bit on the width. I bought them in two different colors I am so pleased. I really hope these boots are never discontinued.

The most comfortable boots I've ever had!
I got the suede coyote version and they are the most comfortable boots I've ever had.The pair I bought here are my second pair. The first pair I wore for two years almost exclusively while I hiked, biked, camped, and just lived everyday life. The left boot eventually developed a hole where the leather meets the rubber at the heal.I fixed it with duct tape. Then both of them had their shoe laces snap.I replaced those laces with tougher laces. The inside soles have worn out quite a bit, but for two years of hard constant use I would say they held up pretty good.I still wear the first pair more than the second pair as I want to squeeze as much use out of both pairs as possible. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever had.Unfortunately it looks like S.W.A.T. might be discontinuing this pair in favor of just making the side-zip versions which I find uncomfortable due to their lack of arch support and looser fitting ankles.

Love these boots
Love these boots! I bought these in a size 8.. I am female and wear a normal 9.5. I had a terrible motorcycle accident 9 years ago and had to have my foot reattached at the ankle. So I need a boot that gives me support. Harley boots are no longer an option as they do not have the support in the bottom for your arch and I find them no longer fitting due to the scarring and other things in my ankle. These boots are great!! They have a great arch support. Great ankle support without putting pressure on my ankle. I wear them riding, wear them hiking, wear them to go to the grocery store!! Extremely comfortable and I can wear them all day. I will be buying another pair of these just so I have a spare should I wear these out. Well worth the money!
