Great for eye glasses and monitors
A coworker recommended these for cleaning my eye glasses and I’m so glad that I made this purchase. I love these cloths much better than the ones that your eye doctor sends with you with your glasses. These can go a long way, can even be washed, and you can use them to clean your glasses dry without the use of even an eye spray type cleaner. They work great even on monitors, such as your laptop screen or even your flatscreen TV at home. I love the fact there’s two cloths, I have one for work and one for home.

My new favorite optical cloth
Took me a while to get used to, as it doesn't look or feel like any optical cloth/wipe that I've ever used. This looks and feels like a paper/microfiber cloth hybrid. You can actually see the fibers in the material, much like visible fibers in some construction paper and fiberboard. I haven't been able to test this Rogge "cloth" on any lenses on professional optical systems, but I have used them on my eyeglasses and they clean very well without any visible scratching. The slightly smoother side cleans much better than the ever-so-slightly-fuzzy side. The fuzzier side smears any miniature oily particles better than it cleans. Based on how quickly and effectively it cleans, this is now my preferred optical cleaning cloth, even over Crizal cloths. I use the cloth dry, rather than wet, as this cloth doesn't seem to handle moisture very well. I have not tried hand-washing them yet to see how they hold up for wear and how well they will wash up, but the size and quantity of the cloths in this package at this price make them nearly disposable. I cut a 2.5" x 5" strip to use on my eyeglasses, and even wiping the glasses once daily for the previous 2 weeks, there is still plenty of cleaning power to this strip that I do not need to wash or dispose of it.

Thin, thin, thin
Extremely disappointed with this product. It does not feel like or act like microfiber cloth at all.

a very good product!
This product does exactly as advertised! I have the liquid cleaner from a previous order and it definitely does not leave streaks!Just wish that the cloth came in a smaller size for my phone but nonetheless, a very good product!

I have been using it to clean light oil off of old Japanese swords and there appears to be very fine scratches occurring on meta
I am a bit skeptical of the optical grade assertion. I have been using it to clean light oil off of old Japanese swords and there appears to be very fine scratches occurring on metal, which should not happen with an optical grade split microfiber. To the feel, it is also not very soft; in fact feels relatively hard like a rough velvet or very hard raw silk. In the future i will use split microfiber products that i have used before.

Nice Microfiber Cloth; Can Be Cut Down For Multiple Uses
I initially received one of these as part of a kit, ROGGE DUO-Clean Screen Cleaner - Professional grade cleaning kit for all LED, LCD, Plasma TV, Computer Monitor, Laptop, Phone Screens, Lenses, Eyeglasses, ... (Extra large Microfiber Cloth + 250ml Cleaner Spray) - Made in Germany . The screen cleaner is a nice product as well, but what I like most is the microfiber cloth. It is hand or machine washable (use no fabric softener) and pretty durable. Still, I know it won't last forever, so I was glad to see a two-pack offered here. Rogge is a trusted brand name in professional cleaning and conditioning solutions, and they partnered with Vileda Professional to make these useful microfiber cloths. The 15 x 15" size is a bit large to use on computer screens, optical lenses, and other small devices, so I cut mine down to a smaller size for convenience and use the other half for larger screens, like my TV.Sample for impartial review
