Easy to apply and masks scratches and chips brilliantly
We used the tools to cover two 5p size chips in our laminate flooring. We initially filled it with the nearest match colour, easily smoothed with a wallpaper scraper, heated with a paint stripper gun. A hairdryer also worked well. To get the perfect match and to make it look like a wood knot, we blended in other darker colours so that is was nearly invisible. To finish, we applied a thin oak varnish.Great product, highly recommended.

Faulty goods
Product does not work. Hot melt wax application tool does not heat up at all ! looking inside it looks used as battery terminal is rusted !

Good waxes, poor heater
The waxes are a good range of colours to allow blending for most shades of brown laminate flooring. Watching some YouTube videos really helped me to improve my technique. The only slight negative is the heating tool which doesn't get hot enough quickly enough and having to hold the power button down constantly while working is not easy.

Very nice.
I think that the overall design would need some improvement. The led light almost destroyed my eye ;-) It is very good set and my complains are minor but if you should consider to re-design the heater... I would add at least battery indicator and and use much softer operating light.

Poor quality heater/solder
Only used it twice and already the heating tool for melting the wax has stopped working. Other reviews mention this - disappointing and can’t find a way of contacting the seller for a replacement heater/solder

Good range of colours
Good range of colour to meet most domestic furniture/s. However, in my view, the heat generated by the device to melt the wax is insufficient, making application difficult. I used a candle instead to melt the wax. Basically the product does the job and solves the problem of unsightly small chip in woodwork. Could be slightly cheaper, I feel.

The melting tool would not even switch on. Clearly very cheaply manufactured.Don't waste your money.
