Hello everyone I purchased the 1095 clay tempered katana, the one with the leather wrapped saya, and had engraved on the blade in Chinese script( If God be for me who dare be against me). This sword is unbelievable. The quality is outstanding, I had them replace the Ito wrap with genuine leather and Told them I did not want a bo-hi in the blade and it arrived 8 days before the scheduled delivery date and it was absolutely perfect, exactly what I ordered, this is DEFINITELY NOT A wall hanger, this is a SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS WEAPON that I would use with confidence in a battle if one shell arise. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the attention to detail and quality that went into this katana it has the tightest wrap Ito I've ever seen. Nothing rattles one bit and is sturdy as one can only imagine. I paid almost $300 to get this katohna to my door and it was worth every cent. I highly recommend shinjin swords, I am extremely impressed and it is literally razor sharp, I can drop a piece of paper on the blade from 3' above and cut halfway through the paper under the papers own weight!! How crazy is that swords made in China I'll come a long ways and the actual bladesmith that built this katana is from Japan using Japan methods. This sword has now become a family treasure and that's hard to believe I only paid $300. No one believes that it did not cost at least $1,000 to $1,500. I told the makers of the katana I wanted a perfect sword and did not want any major flaws I wanted them to make the best one they possibly could and they really delivered. I told them I wanted to the able to present this katana to friends and family and be proud of the all the AMAZING craftsmanship of this beautiful katana. I don't know if I just got lucky or if this is how they treat everyone, but all I have to say is it was a wonderful experience and I can proudly recommend Shijian swords to anyone. Heck I would even put this up against one costing serveral times as much with confidence.

piece of art work.This is one beautiful sword. I did not buy this sword for myself. I did get to open the package and WOW it is a beautiful peace of art. The entity I gave the sword to does have some knowledge about Japanese Swordsmithing, and out of the box was at first pointing out some differences between this sword and a true $2000 Katana, but it only took a few seconds before they pointed out all of the pluses to this sword. The bottom line is if you are looking for a true Katana made from 3 different metals with a value over $2000 guess what this is not it. If you are looking for a amazing piece of art for around $200 this is a huge bargain. We could not find a single flaw. The simple design is gorgeous. Well worth the money. It is a beautiful and well crafted sword. I would also like to add if you have any questions you can email the manufacturer. Just keep in mind the time difference between USA and China, or where ever you call home. They will respond ASAP and are more than willing to help make you a happy customer!!!There is a down side -- it does take some time to receive the sword from the time of purchase to possession. AKA well worth the wait.

I saw this blade had no reviews or questions but i decided to chance it and was pleasantly suprised, the blade has great weight and better details, it wasn't the flashy damascus print in the picture but was good looking, the detail is great from the blade all the way to the handle, a little bit of chipping of the inside of the sheathe but nothing crazy, overall a great blade and addition to any collection

I bought this for my boyfriend’s birthday gift because it was close with Morgott, the Omen King from Elden Ring, sword. But in a katana form.He loved it a lot, and it is his first real katana!We are grateful this katana is made beautifully! Thank you :)❤️

After being royally disappointed by a Chicago based outfit and returning the piece of junk they sent me I came to Amazon and found this blade.Very happy with this sword. Feels great. Good balance and craftsmanship. As a previous review noted, the shipping time was long, delivery predictions were off by a week or so. Delivered in 6 weeks or so but I was in no hurry and it was worth the wait. You get what you see and read in their ad.Thank you SHI JIAN and thank you to the craftsmen and women who put this together.

This is my first sword that i have ever bought, so I was not sure on how to pick which sword that I should buy. After a little research I finally chose to buy this sword. For me I didnt want to buy a decorative sword I wanted one that was battle ready that I could actually use but at the same time looks great. The shipping was fast and the sword was exactly what was advertised if not better. The blade was very sharp and the quality was top notch. I would defently buy again, keep making battle ready swords and ill be back. Thanks!
