Buy a lot of these plastic wallets, as I have, in the last few years moved all my cd's and artwork into plastic wallets and disposes of the hard cases. I did this entirely for storage reasons as i have thousands of cd's. I was initially concerned about the artwork and booklets getting damaged. The cd's and booklets fit nicely, but the back cover art (with the little folds) does protrude from the top of the wallet and may get a bit dog eared and rumpled with general handling and removing the disc for play etc,, but if you treat your disc and art with care they don't look too bad. Bought from this seller before and was happy with the previous lots. These ones however are way more flimsy and seem thinner, i am not a fan. Will use them anyway as there are 100 in the pack and still have lots more to transfer from hard case to plastic wallet. Now if only they could design a plastic wallet for double / treble discs that would be great. Would love to know from any serious collectors if they have found a better alternative for cd storage and artwork (booklet and back inlay) that removes the need for the hard cd cases but is slim, sturdy and compact.

Does the job
Since there seem to be some mixed up reviews, this relates to the 100 pack of transparent CD sleeves sold by Love DVDs.I bought a few packs of these to store a biggish pile of CDs. They are the right size to store the disc plus the front insert (little booklet) from a standard "jewel" case (those plastic cases on which the hinges inevitably break). They can hold two CDs with the booklet, but start to feel a little bit overstretched. The back insert from a jewel case (that is usually folded around the side of the case) won't fit unless you cut it to size. They are not super sturdy and in each pack there are usually one or two of the sleeves that split down the side but they seem OK as long as they are not handled too roughly. The material is very slippery. I am using mine to store the discs vertically in a box, but I don't think it would be possible to use them to store discs laid flat, they would just slide all over the place.

Not as stated
These CD covers do not enable a standard CD insert (picture cover) to be inserted. The CD cover is too small, even though they gave the measurements of their CD cover being big enough as I measured against an old CD cover I had which was big enough. Basically the measurements they gave are wrong.

Good value - does the job
Good value plastic sleeves. Seem well made, durable enough & consistent quality. Used for storing DVDs & CDS. The closing flap is not "pre-creased", so needs a bit of care when folding over & closing the flap - though at this price, not a big issue. Otherwise, all OK.

Slightly different products from different sellers?
I was rather cautious of the mixed reviews on these to date, but given the low price I thought it worth trying one pack to see; based on that trial I am so pleased with them I have just ordered another 200.The sleeves received are an excellent fit and seem well made - protective and secure but not too tight on the discs. The sleeves I received from Babz Media were labelled as made by Humlin and were actually 100 micron thick, rather than 80 microns as per the listing.I suspect that as the listing is essentially for an unbranded product, the exact type, thickness and quality will be partially luck of the draw depending on which seller you use.I have added a photo to show the packaging details for the exact item I received. These are now helping to sort out a large number of previously disorganised CDs and DVDs, and hopefully preventing further scratches. Storing them inside Really Useful 245 x 180 x 160mm 3L Box with Lid - Clear I can now easily find the disc I am after without taking up much more space trying to store them all in the original cases. For £1.45 for 100 sleeves including first class post these are exceptional value.Thoroughly recommended.REVIEW UPDATE: having ordered the same item from the same supplier again I was sent 80 micron sleeves as listed rather than 100 micron ones as before - it seems it really is luck of the draw what arrives!

Good basic protection
I needed these to distribute inkjet printed CDs. Not much to say - they work fine. There is always the worry that the printing might stick better to the sleeve than the CD but no sign of that happening. They come in a clear resealable bag which is good - if the bag split it would be hard to control them as the sleeves would go everywhere but there is no sign of that happening.

Quality plastic CD/DVD protection
Arrived before time originally quoted, suitable packaged. Storage capacity not relevant as they are designed to hold/protect only one disc, you could squeeze 2 discs in but not really worth it as they are reasonably priced.Have already used about 30 sleeves for protection of discs and no problems to date. Better quality by far compared with those available at local supermarkets will purchase again.

Do what they are made for
I make videos for people on DVD - I make a paper cover which, folded over fits into these plastic sleeves and then I fit the disc inside the paper cover, fold down the flap and tuck into the body. Perfect. They will not accommodate a DVD or CD which already has a cover but that is not what they are meant for - duh!
