The "Kitchen Compost Caddy" is a new green compost storage system which provides households participating in residential composting programs a way to store their composting bin onto the inside of a cabinet door at a convenient height beneath the kitchen counter, or anywhere in the home. Once installed, you are able to lock the lid open with our movable latch aiding in food prep, and scraping of food from plates following a meal. With a flip of the latch, gravity drops the lid quietly closed. The compost bucket slides onto the Kitchen Compost Caddy rack and is fully supported in two places: beneath the bucket by our "V" shaped bottom support. (supports the weight within the bucket) & from the back of the bucket (support pins affix the bucket to the main horizontal support of our rack). The compost bucket can easily be removed from the rack by sliding it upwards and off the rack for ease of cleaning or emptying. To replace the bucket, slide the bucket back over the mounting pins located on the upper bracket support while the bottom of the bucket drops effortlessly into the "V" shaped bottom support located at the bottom of our rack system. 4 product variations and 11 sizes are available to meet different cabinet widths.
