King-Dome KD3000 In-Motion Automatic Satellite Dome (White)

Works well enough, however the technology is far less than the Kingdome that was on my 2008 coach. The old Kingdome was seamless. In 6 years, I never touched a button; the signal was just always there. The mechanism was nearly silent. On this new 2015 version, if you want to drive, you have to push buttons, if you are stopped more than 15 min, you have to push buttons again, there is no digital display, and when the thing is running on the roof, it sounds like someone is up there with a small diesel engine banging around.I would buy it again, because it works fine for what I want, but I don't understand why the technology regressed considerably over the last few years, except maybe that's how they got the price down to a more reasonable level.

This unit was a exact replacement for the unit that got destroyed by hail

Purchased it to install on a houseboat and it never worked and the manufacturer doesn't want it back. He stated that traveling under 10 miles per hour it would go in a sleep mode. My houseboat travel around 6 miles per hour. It was not specified in the specification about this. Now I am stuck with an in motion satellite that I could not use. I installed it myself and it works great as a stationary antenna, but I haven't had the opportunity to use its tracking feature. I had to use a different configuration setting for the receiver than the one recommended, but all's well that ends well.

Everything I expected. Even mounted onto my old mounts so I didn't have to drill new holes in my motorhome.
