I got this originally to provide HDMI output from my (3rd gen 12.9) iPad pro. I was looking at the apple usb-c to HDMI adapter. but this one was $10 LESS and had a pile of ADDITIONAL CONNECTION OPTIONS (including a traditional HEADPHONE jack!!!). I've only had it for about a week, but everything I've tried to do with it has worked perfectly. What I enjoy most is the flexibility. As mentioned, it's working exactly as I'd hoped with my iPad. But it also provides me an additional HDMI monitor output with my Lenovo Yoga laptop.My ONLY complaint (and it's minor) is that I wish the main connection cable was either MUCH longer, or (better yet) was simply a plug rather than fixed. So you could use your own cable (of best suited length) to connect to your device. It's nothing you can't solve easily with an extender cable. But it would be nice if you didn't have to.NOTE: I tried to connect this to an OLDER computer that only had USB-A ports using a third-party USB-C to USB-A adapter, and some things worked (card reader and wall-powered USB drives), some didn't (HDMI output and bus-powered USB drives. SO, It would be my advice to get optimal results, use this only with devices that have a built-in USB-C port

Had this for a few months and it worked just okay, a little glitchy at times on connection, but was able to make it work. After about two months it became completely unusable. The screen on the computer would go in-and-out whenever plugged in. Wrote to the seller regarding warranty and got nothing back from them, beyond the return window for Amazon. Waste of money.

I've tried a few 'all-in-one' hubs, trying to find the perfect one for my MccBook Pro (2018) now that we're shackled with pathetic USB-C connectors for everything. I had hoped to run: HDMI (second screen), keyboard, hard drive, audio-out, wired network and charge the laptop at the same time all through the single USB-C. The hub mostly delivers but with some issues.The audio out doesn't work AT ALL. At no time does this output option show up in my Mac so I can't select it. I've tried creating an output for it but it's a non-existent port.If I disconnect the Mac and leave everything plugged into the hub (that's the plan right? So it's just a one-cable reconnect when I return to my desk) then intermittently, when I reconnect, USB ports don't work. In addition, if I leave the network cable and the charger plugged in somehow the hub messes with my network. I have to disconnect the network cable if I'm leaving the hub for a while. On top of this, I only seem to reliably avoid any of this strange issues if I disconnect the charger from the hub. It also seems that while the charger is connected, any hard drives don't go to sleep.So, in essence I've reduced the connections to my MacBook Pro. That was my main aim -- these ridiculously small USB-C connectors are flippant and unreliable and I don't want to end up with failing ports over time. Now I only connect one USB-C to my Mac. I just have to do some fiddling each time with connectors to the hub before I can get back to work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I usually assign Lenovo TB3 Gen2 or Dell TB16 Gen2 docks for workstations, and CableMatters B076TRGGM6 for travel docks. For the price this beats the CableMatters. I think this hub will travel a bit easier as it's sleek and not as lumpy as the CableMatters. Besonders toll ist die schräge Optik, so dass sich das Gerät optimal auf den Schreibtisch anpasst. Der USB C Stecker am Gerät ist sehr gut verarbeitet und sitzt sehr fest. Das Kabel ist ca.20 cm lang. Die Verbindung klappt einwandfrei. Der Hub hat 1 3,5 mm Audio Anschluss, 1 SD/TF Kartenleser, 1 Gigabit Ethernet Port, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, 1 USB 2.0 Port, 1 USB C Port, 1 VGA Port und einen HDMI Port. Alle von mir verwendeten Ports haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Gerät benötigt keine weitere Stromquelle, die noch zusätzlich angeschlossen werden muss. Dafür reicht der USB C Stecker und die Verbindung völlig aus. Die Übertragungsrate war an allen Ports einwandfrei. Der HDMI Port hat problemlos UHD Inhalte gepackt. Das Gerät ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Es ist klein und kompakt und lässt sich gut transportieren, zum Beispiel in der Laptoptasche.Fazit:Dieser Adapter macht einen wirklich sehr guten Eindruck. Er ist gut verarbeitet und die Qualität stimmt von vorne bis hinten. Der Datendurchsatz stimmt an allen Ports. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und gebe deshalb fünf Sterne.

Habe den Adapter jetzt seit ca. 3 Wochen regelmäßiger im Einsatz. Nun kann ich ihn auch bewerten.Sehr guter Adapter, ab und zu erkennt er jedoch die ein oder andere Schnittstelle nicht, oder lädt nicht.ABER eimal aufstöpsle, einstöpseln und er funktioniert einwandfrei - als kein Problem.Was cool ist, er funktioniert auch mit dem IPAD einwandfrei.

Bahn- und Busfahrer kennen die Spannung: Kommt sie oder nicht? So richtig sicher kann man auch nicht sein.Ich hatte schon folgende seltsame Verhaltensweisen:- LAN: funktionierte nicht, bis ich die PD Stromversorgung getrennt und wiederhergestellt habe- USB: Maus blieb aus. Aus- und Einstecken der Maus hat geholfen.- PD: Laptop wurde nicht geladen. Aus- und Einstecken des "Gesamtanschlusses" hat geholfen.- HDMI: Monitor wird nicht erkannt / angesteuert. Aus- und Einstecken des "Gesamtanschlusses" hat geholfen.Eines habe ich jedoch bisher nie erlebt: dass es im laufenden Betrieb Probleme gäbe. Wenn ein Anschluss läuft, läuft das bis zum Herunterfahren des Rechners. Aber danach geht das fröhliche "Bingo" wieder von erneut los. Ich würde sagen, 2 von 3 malen klappt alles Reibungslos, ansonsten halt nach "Reconnect". Ich denke, dies Verhalten liegt an der Vielzahl der Anschlüsse die das Gerät bietet - aber dann müssten man eben die Anschlüsse leicht verzögert aktiviert werden und nicht alle gleichzeitig.Unter dem Strich ist dies der umfangreichste HUB den ich bisher hatte und es sind auch alle 4 USB Anschlüsse belegt: Maus, Tastatur, Cam und eine Durchleitung an eine "USB Steckdose" wo ich ggf. meine USB Sticks bequem einstecken kann.Was mich persönlich stört: wie so ziemlich alle Geräte dieser Art hat auch dieser Hub einen lächerlich kurzen Anschluss. Man muss also noch ein USB-C Verlängerungskabel dazu kaufen, wenn den Hub einsetzt, damit der Schreibtisch aufgeräumt aussieht und die ganze Technik und das Kabelgewirr unter den Tisch oder hinter den Monitor verbannt werden kann. Da bekannt, kann ich keine Sterne abziehen, aber wieso kommt keiner auf die verrückte Idee, ein Anschlusskabel mit 1m Länge zu dran zu machen? Liegt es am Materialpreis? Oder bin ich wirklich der einzige, der das wünscht? Ggf wickele ich das überschüssige Kabel genauso auf wie ich das mit dem Mauskabel etc. tue!

Für meinen iMac habe ich genau nach einer solchen Lösung gesucht um endlich einen komfortablen Zugang zu den Anschlüssen auf der Rückseite des Rechners zu haben, die man sonst immer nur umständlich im Blindflug erreicht (oder durch Drehen des Monitors).Der erste Eindruck war gut, im Vergleich zu einem anderen Hub, den ich zuvor bestellt hatte. Die Verarbeitung wirkt wertig und es werden sogar kleine Anti Rutsch Klebebands mitgeliefert.Auch das Anschlusskabel ist lang genug, so dass der HUB perfekt auf dem Tisch liegt, ohne dass das Anschlusskabel auf Spannung ist oder gar geknickt wird.Das war es dann leider auch schon, denn funktionieren tut der HUB nicht besonders gut an meinem iMac. Und dabei habe ich noch nicht einmal alle Anschlüsse getestet.Ich habe zwei USB Festplatten an 2 der 3 USB 3 Ports angeschlossen um großvolumige Daten hin und her zu schieben. (Eine SSD und eine normale Festplatte)Für die normale Festplatte funktionierte das nicht und die Datei konnte nicht übertragen werden. Man hörte wie die Festplatte immer starten wollte, aber nie wirklich „anlief“. Offensichtlich wird dazu nicht genug Strom übertragen. Beim Anschluss direkt am iMac funktionierte die Festplatte problemlos.An einem USB Hub meines Windows Rechners hatte ich solcherlei Probleme auch nicht.Beim Anschluss einer kleinen Box an den Audio Anschluss änderte sich plötzlich die Auflösung des Monitors in 1080p und konnte auch nicht mehr größer gestellt werden. Der Wechsel der Auflösung in 4K war erst wieder möglich, nachdem der Audio Stecker entferne wurde.Damit ist dieser HUB für mich komplett unbrauchbar und geht leider auch zurück.

This was supposed to replace an EKSA usb-c hub that died from one hour to the next pretty much a year after purchase - and the iBesi is worse in every aspect but the cable length between the hub and the target device.The iBesi introduces an up to frighteningly loud sound through the jack plug when you start the target device while both are plugged together, but that's by far not the worst aspect of it:If you dare to unplug the laptop it is plugged to without powering it down, like when you move from your desk to the couch, the sudden loss of connection basically makes the iBesi send out a signal over LAN that stuns the LAN switch that is connected to the iBesi, and makes every other device that is connected to said LAN switch lose LAN connection. This happens at around 10% of the times you hot-unplug the notebook from the iBesi, and what is the funniest bit is that as soon as you plug the notebook back into the iBesi, every device connected to the switch BEHIND the iBesi regains LAN connection again.This has nothing to do with any issue with the switch, which is a tried and true brand product switch that served me exceptionally well for years now, and still does as I write this, as long as I don't give the iBesi a LAN connection.-in conclusion:If the EKSA usb-c hub would still exist on here, I would have been better of just re-buying that one every time it breaks.This iBesi one here tho, this is not a hub you can rely on, unless you only use a very limited subset of what it offers, and then why buy it at all.Just choke up the 100 bucks for an actually good usb-c hub from an actual company, not these ever changing Chinese e-waste peddlers. All these cheaper options here on amazon are basically more or less garbage. It's not worth the hassle.-addition:Up to today, 6 weeks after the order AND delivery of said garbage product, Amazon still claims the package is still in transit - how convenient for them, to not have to offer me a refund option on it, as if they knew it is indeed garbage.Go figure.
