I was instructed to purchase the Catechism of the Catholic Church for my RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes, and I’m so glad I did. All inclusive book about the Catholic Church! Excellent resource for someone trying to improve their knowledge.

Great book, my parents had this book and recently I saw it at a Catholic church, they had a stack of these books for anyone interested in studying the Catholic faith. I bought the book on Amazon and am impressed with all the information contain within the pages. It lists just about everything you need to know about Catholics. The only drawback I have is that the printing is small and it's hard for me to read (I've recently had eye problems), that's my only issue. But if it were large print the book would be huge. Anyway, I do recommend this book.

Great Book and Great Price

Joining the church spring 2025 and this helps with quick reference if you ever have questions. I realize there's a new version, but the price on this was wonderful for a shelf book and I do end up reaching for it more than I thought I would. I use it quite often when my kids ask random questions about the church that I'm not sure exactly how to reword what I'm thinking in my brain!

This is the catechism of the Catholic Church and has the updates by Pope John Paul II, but it does not have the update to 2267 by Pope Francis. Otherwise, it’s fine. (2267 is very important but can be found with an internet search.)

Overall this is a nice book for anyone interested in Catholicism. It's loaded with matters on how Catholics adhere to our Faith -- even lifelong Catholics like myself!
