Love it, use it to make sure friends are set to get home after parties etc. Hard to judge the accuracy but seems to be in the right ballpark

We had two different people who had been drinking try this. First time they each blew, it was early in the evening and they were only a couple drinks in. Both agreed that reading felt accurate to how "drunk" they felt. But later on the night, many more drinks in, this read an even lower blood alcohol level in one of the guys than it had in the beginning of the night. And witnessed both men consume far more alcohol by then. So I would say it isn't accurate and I wouldn't trust it. I think it would still work for busting someone who said they weren't drinking when they where, but that's probably about it.

When i blow into each of these, one after the other, i get two different readings. When i blow into one twice, i get two different readings. That is not acceptable. Without these, i can already guesstimate my condition from the number of drinks in the amount of time i drank them. These cost a pretty penny, but don’t make me any safer.

We are a married couple, so got this 2 pack so we can have one on each of our cars.We wanted to be reassured that after one or two drinks we are still legally within the legal limits to operate our vehicles.The Breathalyzer is easy to operate itself, however, after a couple of tests at home, the two units we received wouldn't agree on the reading by +/- 0.02 which is a HUGE margin.We waited the 2 minute timeframe suggested by the manual and got readings of 0.01 after having a drink in one, and the same individual tested the other unit and got 0.03, we repeated the test right away and got the same results.Have another 2 drinks and readings were then 0.03 in one and 0.06 in the other.Unfortunately, i don;t know which one is calibrated and which one to believe so these are no use for other than just a wild ballpark reference and wouldn't trust these vs a law enforcement tool, avoid that DUI and get a different model.

We have people over a lot during the summer to swim and that usually entails drinking. I have always thought that having a breathalyzer would not only give me peace of mind that my guests were ok to drive, but also have solid proof for my guests when they were not ok and thought that they were. So I was hopeful when I got these Bactrack 2 pack of breathalyzers.So far I have mixed feelings when it comes to these breathalyzers. First they are easy to use and the directions are clear as easy to read. They are also sleek looking and are a small size which I appreciate. But the accuracy is off a bit on them. First we tried just one device back to back, and we got readings between .01-.03 when testing the same person back to back a few times. While that is obviously a bit disappointing that it’s not more consistent, I can still get a fairly accurate reading for someone that has had more than just a few drinks where I can say no, you have had to much and your over by quite a bit. But at the same time these are not cheap, so the fact that they can be off even that much is disappointing. But overall im still happy to have these and they will still serve the purpose I got them for.

These seem to be completely accurate. We tested them with one male, one female and a child. Female had one beer, male had part of a liquor drink and one beer, the child obviously had none. The instructions are very clear that you have to wait at least 20 minutes from drinking or eating before taking the test. The child blew 0, in both, as expected. Female blew .035 in one then .033 in the other. Male blew .069 in one then minutes later .067 in the other. The numbers seem to align with the amount to drink and time in between. Both were so close and accurate being that there was time in between the two tests. They come with a small, zip pouch which makes them very convenient to carry. This is perfect for someone who has occasional drinks yet wants to be certain they are not intoxicated when driving.

This is light weight and small enough to carry in a purse. It’s ease of testing makes it incredibly useful. It’s a short blow and then a quick calculation. The display is bright and easy to see even without my readers on. After using it we have decided the readings appear to be accurate enough for a good estimate. Sometimes readings one after another come out differently, but always very close.
