Honeywell make excellent alarm systems, and here's why. This awesome PIEZO external siren is awesome, very loud, easy to install and wire to the main panel, options to change bell ringing time from 5 minutes to 20 minutes, and comes with battery backup so if someone tries to rip the bell off the wall, it will still emit one hell of a din! Great produce, good build quality. Buy it !

Nice neat bell box. My only comment is that the LEDs do show at all during the day and at night only red can be seen flashing.

Replaced a 12 year old bellbox that had gone faulty on an outbuilding. Others have said the 'working' LED's are hard to see especially in daylight. But the strobe when the alarm is sounding is bright & loud. Very easy to fit (NB use hearing protection when installing). Accenta/ADE/ Honeywell alarm kit is excellent. It has been around for years. Spares are cheap, easy to fit & reliable . Our main system is 25 years old, & has had many parts replaced over the years including worn out keypads, batteries etc. BUT still has some original parts. In that time there really have only been a handful of false alarms. You can find auto diallers (at a price), but a cheap wifi smart alarm interface is the only thing missing & would be awesome... (Take note Arduino / Pi makers - surely this can't be that hard to do).

I bought this to replace an identical unit that was about 10 years old.The fact that it was identical to the old unit made installation a doddle. Good clear instructions were included. Recommended.

We were burgled so I was prompted to act. I'm not an alarm expert, but I like to fiddle with wires and found this easy to fit.Pros:- easy to install- clear instructions- loud as an earthquake- good price- easy jumpers to set different sound times / LED flash patterns- battery backupCons:- you can't see the status lights through the blue translucent material - there's no indication it's on. This is a bit of a deal killer for me. It would have been 5 stars if you could see the LEDs flashing (or solid - there's a jumper to select the way they behave)- there's no scary sticker on the front - it's quite inconspicuous - not a big deal, but it's pretty tame looking.I got one of these boxes to replace my last bell unit, which came with our house and is decades old. In those decades it really decayed inside - the little indicator LEDS had rusted off. So when we were burgled I thought, "maybe it's because my alarm box wasn't flashing."So I wired this up, tested it (it's so loud that it made me squint when I had to remove the battery jumper and cause an alarm), and placed it on the front of my house.Alas, when I got the cover on, I couldn't see the lights flashing to show that it was operational or set. I want a big scary light saying "burglars keep out" but got none.

Fitted, does the job well, looks better than the alarm box it replaced. The five second test facility is useful. Looks well made, the internal rechargeable battery is separate from the circuit board so will be easy to replace in five years or so.

This Alarm box doesn't show the red LED moving as the blue colour is too thick so it doesn't actually look like it is working. Really unhappy with this. Manufacturers need to change the blue plastic for a clear plastic. So disappointed as that was the reason for ordering it but what a waste of money as should have done without as you can’t see the LED’s. The manufacturers should remake it in clear plastic and send them out to customers who have bought the one with the rubbish blue covers.

Working LEDs show its Alive. Nice quality. Also can fit to older existing equipment.
