This was the perfect size to get all my seeds planted indoors for my spring/summer garden. They are very easy to use. Took me about an hour and a half to go from packaged trays/pellets to having both trays fully planted. And within 6 days, but trays already had seedlings.

My first time using this type of system and every single seed I planted sprouted. A couple of weeks later I made the mistake of using an off brand of pods and not only did my seeds rot but the smell was horrible. I will never use another brand again.

I wish the tray/lid was a bit sturdier and that the lid fit a little better. Seems to be doing OK with my seedlings.

I'm new to growing my own plants from seed, but this makes it so easy. The tray is very sturdy and easy to move around when needed. Eventually I want to make my own seed starter, but until then, these are perfect.

Very easy to use. Just be careful and add water slowly. It takes a while for the pellets to grow and the tendency is to over water. Just be patient. We used these to germinate tomatoes and peppers, and the larger variety to germinate beets. All worked very well and seeds germinated in short order. After 2 weeks we transplanted the whole plug into larger containers and moved from kitchen table to greenhouse. This is my first year to use these but I highly recommend. Previously we tried to germinate in larger containers in the greenhouse. This time we germinated in these trays on kitchen table and transplanted to greenhouse. Best seedlings Ive ever had.

I have bought these before. They are larger than the typical Jiffy’s so you can start your seeds early and dont have to worry about transplanting before going outside.

Unfortunately the sides were pushed in and out of shape so the tops and bottom trays did not match up. If they had been ok, I think they would have been great.
