However, adjustment difficulties seem to follow hand in hand with sleek aerodynamics. Fight no longer with your aerodynamic center-pull brakes tucked away underneath the bottom bracket. These SRAM 990 TT Brake Levers have a built-in cable adjustment at the lever. Slight tweaks to the cable tension are simple and easy, and you don't have to disconnect the cable or access the brake caliper. The design allows for a total range of 8mm of tension adjustment. The SRAM 990 TT Brake Levers are sold as a pair (left and right specific). They have Matte unidirectional carbon finish. Review: Nice looking levers, but they could be improved upon - A bit on the expensive side, but they are carbon (a small weight savings), are nice to look at, and work well with my SRAM Caliper Brakes. I didn't get the black bolts as shown in the picture. They came with silver bolts. I really wanted to black bolts; as my whole bicycle is black and I wanted to eliminate as much silver as possible. I believe there are other levers that have a closer reach, and I wish these were closer; as reaching for the levers is not as quick as I would like.
