Double Toilet Paper Holder – Double Toilet Paper Roll Holder with Shelf, Adhesive No Drilling or Wall Mounted, Stainless Steel Polished Chrome

The product itself is very sturdy with a good design that has ample room for larger toilet paper rolls. The shelf on top is quite large and can easily hold a large smartphone.However, this thing is a nightmare to install. There are two options available, you can use a sticky 3M adhesive pad they provide, or you can use the "wall anchors" and screws provided. An insert that came with the product indicated the 3M pad would damage walls if it was used on painted or wallpapered surface. I opted to install this using the "anchors" and screws. This is where my nightmare begins. The wall anchors are not usable in the slightest. The main problem with them is that the part that anchors into the wall is larger than the head of the anchor (so they look like this: {{{{{{-: <---screw). This creates the problem of the anchor spinning with the screw as you turn it, or the anchor getting pushed into the wall should the slightest amount of pressure be applied to them. So one hour and several holes in my wall later, I gave up and just used the screws alone. Luckily one screw was aligned over a stud so it shouldn't be much of a problem in the long run.tl;dr: The manufacturer needs to provide legitimate wall anchors and not the garbage they are currently packaging with the product.

Very easy to install. Attached to wall using screws and anchors provided AND the 3M adhesive provided. Instructions say you can use either but I used both for a double-strength attachment, and it holds as if it were part of the wall, unshakeable. The piece is solid, commercial strength. The side that attaches to the wall was large enough (which was important to me) to cover the holes where I had mounted previous TP holders. The shelf is good for a phone or moist wipes. Holds mega-rolls too. A great buy.

Easy to install with a drill and a screwdriver. (As a personal preference, I opted not to use the sticky adhesive pad that came with the product.) Took less than 10 minutes.The product is very attractive and, most importantly, mega rolls fit. It seems to be quite sturdy, but only time will tell for sure.Couldn't be easier to exchange old and new toilet paper rolls.You may also wish to note that the cardboard cylinder that the toilet paper is wrapped around fits very loosely on the metal rod that holds the toilet paper roll. Like the more traditional toilet paper holders, this increases the possibility of tearing off more toilet paper than needed and/or having to manually rewind the roll. To reduce this possibility, I stuff 2 or 3 loosely wadded-up toilet paper squares into the space between the rod and the cylinder. Works like a charm!I'd recommend this product strongly (assuming it's rustproof).

First off, why do toilet paper rolls need to be so MASSIVE??? Is it really such a trial to replace a roll that we now require rolls the size of balloon tires? Ugh.It seems next to impossible to find toilet paper in the old "regular" dimensions, so I decided to replace the holders in my bathrooms. This toilet paper holder is extremely nice - very good quality, nice appearance, neat little shelf. However, despite the fact that the description states it can hold "mega" size rolls, it really cannot. For the record, the toilet paper I have is Charmin Mega Family size rolls and they are ridiculously big. This particular size roll does not fit on this holder at all and I returned them. Other reviews say that their "mega" size rolls fit on this holder, but this one does not.To be clear, these are really nice toilet paper holders - but they look to be able to accommodate only "regular" size rolls of toilet paper. Sheesh. This is something that really should not be this difficult.

This product is constructed nicely and I have no issues with most of it.Be aware that the title and product information should be more specific on surfaces that can use the adhesive (most bathrooms have a painted wall that CANNOT USE THE ADHESIVE, which mean you will most likely have to drill holes). In fact the misleading picture in the item description shows an obvious painted wall in which they did NOT USE FASTENERS as the holes were vacant (so adhesive was used). After you receive the item, the instructions clearly state that you MUST use fasteners for painted walls! Misleading for the sale...The hardware is cheap. Specifically, the drywall anchors, even when press-fitted snugly into the holes that you will MOST LIKELY HAVE TO DRILL, will spin and frustrate you until you just use better quality hardware. This makes it very frustrating and knocks the rating down for me.Other than that, a decent product as far as the stainless steel part goes.Time to vacuum all the drywall from the floor - thanks but no thanks if I could do it all over.

The toilet paper holder looks very attractive with the brushed nickel finish. I love the look and the feel of this paper toilet holder. Elegant and sturdy, holding in hand and feeling of high quality. I tried the mega roll bought from Costco, and the TP holder can fit it well. The mega roll diameter is up to 5.5inch. It is really good for me. The product comes with both mounted screws and adhesive, and very detailed user manual inside box. It is easy to install. Also, fast delivery and good service. It is a good shopping experience. Love it and highly recommend this product.

Excellent quality, very well finished, strong and sturdy...exactly as advertised. I reviewed a lot of similar products, some that were less expensive, but usually you get what you pay for, so I chose this one...partly because of the excellent reviews. Only thing is, the plastic anchors & screws that come in the box are useless...but I don't think that's a reason to give this item less than 5 stars. This toilet paper holder is heavy, so should be screwed in. Buy some toggle drywall anchors that spread behind the drywall if you have to mount it on drywall, and use #8 wood screws. Also try to at least put one screw into a stud. I had access to the wall behind my drywall, so I took a 2x4 and cut it 14 1/2" long, turned it on it's side, and screwed it between the studs behind where I mounted this holder.

Product took forever to arrive, and arrived broken/bent, despite the packaging being good. Very disappointing and couldn't bring myself to commit to waiting for a replacement. Maybe a good product, but I wouldn't know.
