Tractiongrips Grip Overlays for Glock G43 Pistols

Flat-out perfect. I purchased this overlay in July 2015, and have routinely carried my G43 (basically wherever & whenever legally permissible) in an IWB holster ever since. It's not peeling off, wearing through, or losing its tacky feel despite being worn almost daily in a way that exposes the grip to my gross, oily, sweaty skin most of the time. I degreased the frame before applying the grip - just a thorough scrub in the sink with some Simple Green and an old toothbrush, then dried it with a hair dryer and wiped down with denatured alcohol on a lint-free rag just to be sure. I do a lot of short range sessions with the pistol and while I don't clean it thoroughly very often, I do apply a PTFE-formula gun oil pretty often and usually get it on the grip frame in the process. Still, after 2 years, the overlay isn't separating from the frame, even around the more pointed edges of its pattern. I still get a sure grip each time I put my hand around it, even with sweat, rain, or tapioca pudding all over my hands. (Don't ask.) I applied one of these overlays to a G42 as well, and while that pistol rarely gets carried, my experience with the G43 version gives me complete confidence that I won't ever have to worry about getting a good grip on that one, either.

I bought these same grips for my G42 and loved them so much. Once they came out with some for a G43 I got them. They feel slightly different. They're not as "Sticky" as my G42's. I applied them the exact same way. It's not bad at all, some would probably prefer them like this. I, myself, prefer the stickiness. These are still a 4 star grip for me and I would buy them again. Application is easy and quick using their instructions.

Just arrived today, after I returned from the range. I'll say i didn't have high hopes for this grip after reading some of the reviews. After addressing the very well laid out directs and making sure the firearm was ready for application I installed this grip.First thoughts:Pros:1. Great shipping2. Great instructions3. Great economics4. Great color(grey)Cons:1. Adhesive initially seems weak2. Backing on grips could be segmented for easier installation3. Grip under trigger guard to far forwardThe cons of this grip so far are mostly personal preference. I carry IWB and the grip met with the holster requiring me to trim it back. This was an easy decision because the adhesive didn't stick there anyways.Overall, the cost is right, the color is wonderful, and I love the feel. I'll reserve final judgment after a couple of range days.

Great product. Functions the same as talon grips for half the price. I used this product on my g43. After a few range days in the CA heat I can say that they make a huge difference in the grip/ traction on the gun. Would definitely buy again and recommend this product to my peers/ students (LE Firearms Instructor).

Very happy with this product thus far. It did take a little patience installing it - but wasn't difficult. The G43 is a smaller weapon and therefore the handle is a bit smaller as well. If my hands started to sweat or there was any humidity, I would lose some traction. This grip is just right in my opinion. I even used it while shooting in the cold (20-30degrees F) and the grip was superb. For the price, it's definitely worth purchasing.

Easy to put on, though I would suggest using a heat gun instead of a blow dryer. Gives the gun a sticky texture and feels better in my hands. I didn't like that there was no back strap area so I cut off the finger guard part and put it on the back, plus I feel like the finger guard grip would rub against things and make it fall off with the holster I am using.

Awesome grip tape for the Glock 43. It's aggressive enough for the added grip but not too aggressive to make it impossible to carry it as a CCW. I definitely recommend using a hair dryer to warm up the grip so installation will be easier. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to any Glock 43 owner!

Installs easily and keeps my sweaty hands in place.Can't pocket carry with it, as it grabs the sides of my pockets.I know, I know.... pocket carry bites. Appendix IWB is easiestto get to and defend and not show.... For that this is great.I highly recommend
