Traction Grip Overlays in Black for Glock G43 Pistols

After destroying TWO sets of rubberized Talon Grips in trying to get a better grip texture my G43, I decided to go back to a Traction Grip product. I've used their grip tape on other guns in the past with good success, so I figured another $10 or so over the $37 I've wasted so far on Talons wasn't going to hurt any worse that it already has. The Talons I just could NOT get to stay in place, particularly when the temperature got warm. I followed their instructions to the letter, and yet their adhesive would quickly start leeching and tearing away from the texture material and edges would begin to lift away from the G43's frame as I put the gun to carry and use.I had to clean thoroughly clean that sticky residue (again) off of my Glock, but after a light scrub with some soapy dishwashing water, further wipedown with rubbing alcohol and allowing the gun to dry, I got to work with the Traction Grip. Application was straightforward. Once on, hit it with a hair dryer and let cool. That's it.One thing I immediately liked about the TG tape is that the front strap is continuous across and down both sides of the grip. With Talon there will be a seam on the forward left side of the grip, exactly where the ends of my strong hand fingers rub and tend to pry at without really trying. No such seam with the Traction Grip tape. Also with the TG product the 'cut' of the tape has fewer flaps (and consequently perimeter edge) to deal with than the Talon tape did. I see this as a GOOD thing, as more flaps allowed more parts of the Talon tape to slide and move around. However I was somewhat taken aback by the lack of tape for the back strap; I hadn't expected that to be left bare. But so far it seem that my palm doesn't have any affect on peeling at either of the TG exposed edges that run top to bottom alongside the back strap. It's been a good week and the tape has shown zero signs of lifting away from the gun's frame. Very pleased so far; the texture is much more grippy than the weak factory raised texture and the G43 definitely feels more 'locked in' when shooting at the range.Especially for the, the Traction Grip tape is well worth it. I will continue to use their products on my firearms and leave all the rest for others to deal with.

These are very effective when it comes to adding a little extra grip to my handgun. They feel nice and have a good tacky feel. It grips well in the hand. They are easy to apply as well.

Installs easily and keeps my sweaty hands in place.Can't pocket carry with it, as it grabs the sides of my pockets.I know, I know.... pocket carry bites. Appendix IWB is easiestto get to and defend and not show.... For that this is great.I highly recommend

Absolutely excellent grip and value. This was my first use of this style grip and WOW, what a nice touch! I'm sold on these for new generation Glocks, as I do not like the newer factory texture. This grip is rubbery and not like grip tape so no scratching your body or clothing, just improved looks and grip! The appearance is BETTER than factory too and looks stock. Impressed. Also, this grip looks better than the more expensive and better known product. Highly recommended!

This grip overlay is awesome!! It is easy to install, very thin, and makes establishing a grip on your weapon much easier. It is a must have for the smaller frame G43. Great product at half the price of the other popular grip overlay!!

Very happy with this product thus far. It did take a little patience installing it - but wasn't difficult. The G43 is a smaller weapon and therefore the handle is a bit smaller as well. If my hands started to sweat or there was any humidity, I would lose some traction. This grip is just right in my opinion. I even used it while shooting in the cold (20-30degrees F) and the grip was superb. For the price, it's definitely worth purchasing.

Had to change my rating. I Loved them at first, they are nice grips, until they started falling off after only a couple of months. I installed them exactly as instructions directed. It’s just loosing the adhesion and falling off. I expected better

Arrived within just a few days. I've only had it on my Glock 43 for about a week, but it seems like a good quality product. The fit is perfect. I would recommend following the directions, although they can be a little vague. I did a dry fir and then followed the directions (clean grip, heat overlays with hair dryer/partially removal of backing and work your way around. Mine also came with an extended mag grip.
