But from what I see, comes with some? How well does it work without them, how big is the difference?** A: There are no base stations with the Vive Cosmos and the difference is pretty massive. Inside out tracking will work fine in certain games like Beat Saber and VR Chat, but if you play certain games the Cosmos has some pretty glaring faults that will make you wish for outside in tracking. Anything where you have to line up both of the controllers with the headset (such as while drawing back a bow in Skyrim VR or VR Dungeon Knight, or using two hands to hold a rifle or shotgun in Pavlov VR or Boneworks) is going to cause trouble because the headset can't accurately track the front controller past the rear controller. The headset also loses track of your hands when reaching anywhere not in front of you, such as reaching behind you to store a spare firearm or grab a backpack, or even grabbing your shoulder to activate a radio. It's true that the Cosmos is modular and you can add base stations later, but you have to buy them. You also need the new faceplate to allow the Cosmos to work with those base stations. Oh, and the included controllers won't work with the base stations, so you'll need some of those too. With all of the extras you'll need to buy to make the Cosmos perform outside in tracking, you could almost just buy another headset... **Q: Me & my lady have gaming pc's and we want to do vr for the both of us @ same time, full body tracking, same space, how can we do this?vr chat desired.** A: Full body tracking with this would require the external tracking faceplate and some external trackers to mount on your body. Plus you'll need the tracking base stations. It you get the cosmos elite it'll come with tracking stations and the face plate but not the body trackers. I'm not sure if you can do two people with full body trackers at the same time in the same room as you'd need a set of tracking stations per person and they would probably interfere with each other. Plus there's the possibility of you two running into eachother. **Q: Full body compatible?** A: Full-body tracking is possible on the headset but not as is. You would need the base station tracking module that's coming out next year. full-body tracking requires the base stations along with the HTC tracking pucks and unfortunately you cannot use two forms of tracking at the same time so the headset can't use it's inside out tracking. **Q: Dose this work with Vr chat?** A: Yes, this can run any steam vr game. Though some games haven't programmed controls for it so you may have to download/customise the button maps for it.
