A G Shock for an adult
Very nice watch. Thin and comfortable. It’s a little larger than I thought it would be and that’s a good thing. It’s by no means large. And it’s so lightweight. The digital display is hard for me to see, heck I’m 52 years old. But it looks so stealthy I don’t care. If you’re in a dim room it could also be hard to read the minute and hour hands, but in an office or outside with adequate light it’s not a problem. Very easy to set up. Overall I’m very happy and will be buying more of these in the future.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I have to admit, I don’t know what I expected when the box came, but what a pleasant surprise. I was looking for a watch I could take kayaking and on nature hikes, but I didn’t want to spend more than $100 on it. It needed to have a rubber or synthetic band that handled water well and was easily able to try with a towel. The watch needed to be waterproof but also not complicated. The G-Shock series is typically a very busy watch face, and the cases are usually so large (49mm and above). I wanted something that was smaller for my medium-sized wrist. I wanted a simplified G-Shock, but different, and not obnoxious. I found it with this model.Overall, it’s a nice watch. It shows very well. I like the world time setting and just love watching the hands spin around when I select the city. It fits my wrist and isn’t too big or heavy. I think it is very clean looking and I didn’t expect to say “wow” out of the box. But the design harkens back to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak design, which is a dream look for most. This is why the watch is referred to as a “CasiOak”. I didn’t want a ton of little things to look at on the watch face so to me, looking down and checking the time is a real pleasure. There’s a day of the week and a time. Perfect. The light works well in the dark. The watch is made to be an activewear style watch so the material of the watch suits it’s ability to compete with products of the environment (water and dirt). So when I see these other comments that say things like "well the material feels cheap" or "the band is not what I thought", I don't know what other material they expected the watch to be made of. Overall, good watch and I'm not sure where the left of field reviews are coming from.I am pleased and would recommend this watch.

Comfortable. Not as horsey as other G-Shocks.
I bought the "stealth" (all black) version for the $99 list price here on Amazon from a seller called BrandsWalk. It seems that some dealers are price gouging on this watch, which is typical these days for certain watches that are in short supply (especially men's Rolex sport models or this particular G-Shock). My thanks to BrandsWalk for having the decency not to take advantage of this situation. As others have said, this G-Shock wears smaller than its 45mm diameter. I have small 6.75" wrists and this watch is quite comfortable and doesn't look totally ridiculous on my arm (at least from my perspective). I've always wanted a G-Shock but few of the models appealed, either because of aesthetics or their monstrous size. This model works on both accounts: No barnacle-like protrusions and a relatively slim aspect ratio. It looks good, feels good, and seems to work well (during the short period I've had it).I especially like the stealth version, which is adequately visible even in a dimly lit room. The day of the week indicator (near 9 o'clock) won't be easily visible unless you're in a brightly lit environment, but that doesn't bother me. The digital information (which can be toggled through date, world time, etc.) near the 4 o'clock part of the dial can be easily illuminated with a press of the B button (near the 2 o'clock position). My watch came set (accurately) to Tokyo time. It was easy to change to New York City time by reading the enclosed instruction booklet. I expect this watch will become one of my favorite "beater" watches. This is a great watch for $99.

Everything that you want from a watch
The watch works very well and has some great features that you won’t get from an analog watch. The mix of analog and digital with the hands is a nice touch and is very cool.

Sleek and durable
Very good value for your money! So many styles and colors to choose from. My husband won’t buy any other kind of watch. I think this is his 4th one. Very durable, but “cleans up” nicely. He can wear one comfortably at work and then switch to his other one when he needs to dress up. Great time retention and simple to set up. The watch band is comfortable and has plenty of notches for size options.

Light weight. Hard to read.
I got it as a neutral look because I plan on doing a “royal oak” mod. It’s stealth and that’s cool but it’s hard to read at night. The light that’s provided is crap. I bought lume that I’ll add later and that’ll make it more useful. Other than that the digital window took some getting used to but it’s subtle and I like that. And there’s a button sequence to move the hands out of the way for the digital window. Overall it’s great but will be better when I’m done modding it. I’m a mechanic and am pretty hard on everything I own. It’s held up so far.

Beautiful watch
I love this watch, it looks really good and is a great value. The best G-shock out there. Also, if you have a smaller wrist, this will fit it well (Mine is 6.25 inches). It is thin (for a G-shock) and a pleasant size comparable to other G-shocks.
