Only real caveat is the phone/tablet holder. Very lightweight plastic, adequate for phone, but I honestly don't trust to hold my $600 iPad Air outdoors on photo shoots, the real purpose of the purchase. (Running CamRanger2 software to control DSLR remotely) Tripod is fine, lightweight, sturdy enough. The carrying bag is great, and the little shutter release gadget is nice I suppose. I personally won't use it, but if it works it's a nice touch.I just wish the plastic mount on the tripod was more rugged, and the phone/tablet mount was much more rugged. It will hold my 10.5 3rd Gen iPad Air, but barely. 5 stars but for the holder, which I feel needs to be out of heavier plastic, larger grips, and stronger springs.

Received product in good time - feel the stand is a little too flimsy and not as sturdy as I had hoped. Planned to use it for my iPad for video; not sure how it will hold up. Probably should have gotten a more studier one, but price was issue. The holder for the phone, iPad, etc. keeps falling off - does not hold well. The screws hold the stand together well, and I like the bag that comes with stand. Due to these factors, I give only a 3.

We're using this for remote piano lessons as we shelter in place. I bought this one because it could hold both the iphone and ipad. We also use it for various Zoom calls. So far, it serves its purpose very well. It adjusts easily and locks into position firmly.

My granddaughter wanted this for her iPad. She loves recording her and her friends dancing, she loves to watch videos, and play games. She was having to prop the iPad up on something and it would always fall over. So this is perfect for holding her iPad, and you can place it at the height you desire as it is adjustable. You can also adjust the holder part for cell phone recordings or videos.

Bought it for remote piano lessons, but was ultimately useless.While it can hold a covered iPad, It could barely support the weight of the iPad. Within minutes, it would start slipping. No amount of tightening the screws could stop it. On top of that, tilting the iPad even a little bit would start causing the stand to tip over. I ended up having to tie down the stand so it would remain in place while adjusting it.

Useful for what I am using it for. Four stars only because the stand itself could be more sturdy. My only complaint.

Best purchase for our pandemic times. Makes videochatting with friends and family a breeze.

Very disappointed with this purchase. The holder covers the camera on my phone. My tablet which is light, the holder probably can hold it but I have to see how that will work out.

This was a very effective replacement for an earlier design of iPad holder which wasn't so secure. This model is excellent. It is robust, versatile and carried on a well-made tripod. The attachment of the holder to the tripod was a bit tricky to fit and required quite a lot to pressure to click it into place. Once that was achieved the whole assembly was very secure. I wonder if the criticism in some other reviews that this attachment was unreliable was because the user hadn't applied the considerable amount of pressure required. What has been particularly outstanding is the excellent customer service as when I raised some reservations about the earlier model these were dealt with courteously and the obsolete model was replace by this updated design without question. Thank you Raking!Excellent product. Does exactly what it says. My husband has just had an operation and is very happily watching TV on his IPad without having to hold it or prop it up. As well as holding a tablet, I needed a stand which would also take my clamp-on instrument and drink holders which Therefore, it was with a leap of faith that I ordered this tablet stand but was delighted to find that all poles of diameter accomodated the clamps OK.his is literally one of the coolest little things I’ve bought. It’s so smooth and matches any product well! I love it because it looks like my iPad is on display on my bedside table. My husband decided to re visit his guitar playing and singing! This is a great stand that holds his iPad or phone so he can watch instruction videos whilst playing. Previously it was balanced on a chair. Simple set up although locking the holder onto the stand took a bit of effort but once locked in - very safe. High recommend

This is ideal. Use it to on stage when gigging. Stands at the side of the mic stand. Height is fine, could do with being able to tip it back to a greater angle but other than that it works well. Just wouldnt over tighten the knobs too much, but just finger tight is fine.Having read some of the reviews I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product is easy to put together, stable and definitely fit for purpose. I’ve used it to hold an iPad Air and an iPad mini while following workouts and it works well with both. You can tilt and turn the head mid workout without problems to angle your tablet as you change position. Good buy!

It’s ok but not the best. WARNING if you are putting it on a table it WILL SCRATCH the table. It has left marks on my table that I cannot fix. The ends are just bare metal so I’ve had to wrap some duck tape around the bottom legs. Very cheap feel but is ok.
