Logitech G Driving Force Shifter
The Logitech G Driving Force Shifter is an excellent addition to any racing setup. It’s built with great quality materials—solid steel construction and a leather-wrapped knob and boot make it feel premium and durable. The shifter pairs seamlessly with the Logitech G29, G920, and G923 racing wheels and is compatible across a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.What really stands out is the realistic experience it provides. The six-speed “H-pattern” gearbox with a push-down reverse gear feels natural and smooth, offering a much more immersive driving experience compared to using paddle shifters. Whether you’re into casual driving sims or competitive racing, this shifter adds a whole new level of engagement.Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their racing rig!

Logitech Wheel Required for Use
Great shifter FOR THE G923! Make sure you have the Logitech G923 before buying this. This shifter BY Logitech will ONLY work with at least the G923. I'm not sure if it can connect to any other G wheels, but I know the G923 has a specific port FOR the shifter. With that out of the way, the quality is great and feels like a real shifter. The shifter height is a little bit on the shorter side, but it still works great for most games. The cord length is just perfect for the G923, assuming you're using the wheel and shifter the way they were intended to be. For the price, I honestly think its a fantastic value especially since its a name brand.

Solid Add-On for Realistic Racing – A Must for Sim Drivers
I picked up the Logitech Driving Force Shifter to go with my wheel, and it’s been a great upgrade to my race setup. The build quality is solid, with a metal shaft and a leather-wrapped knob that feels premium and durable. The 6-speed H-pattern shifting (plus reverse) adds a lot of realism, especially in games like Assetto Corsa, Forza, and Euro Truck Simulator. Gear engagement feels smooth with just enough resistance to make it satisfying without being stiff. It mounts securely to my sim rig and hasn’t moved once during intense sessions. It’s not a high-end direct drive-level shifter, but for the price, it’s an excellent value and a great addition to the Logitech ecosystem.Highly recommend it if you’re looking to take your sim racing to the next level.

Works well got it figured out.
Had a hard time mounting it to my simulator rig. Eventually figured it out. It could be a little bit easier to set up.

Really great intro to the world of sim racing/driving
I paired this with a PC/PS5 G923 and just recently retired it in favor of the Logitech RS 2-in1 Sequential shifter and handbrake. For the price, if you’re already using the beginner level G29/G920/G923 Logitech wheels, and don’t want to use the paddle shifters, it’s a must have in my opinion. It reminds you of a short throw shifter, and is very satisfying in terms of the way it clicks into gear, and its fairly low noise level compared to the otherwise loud Logitech TRUEFORCE system. Feels very well built, and can easily be converted to a sequential shift if you have a few rubber bands laying around and a bit of ambition. If you’re doing any ATS or BeamNG.Drive, it’s hard to live without it. I used mine with a fair amount of Gran Turismo 7, too, and when it comes to stock cars using anywhere between a 4 and 6 speed trans, it really gives you a good bit of immersion, especially paired with a PSVR 2.With that being said, as someone who’s driven manual transmissions most of my life, make no mistake: you’re not going to confuse this for the “real thing”. Changing gears can be a bit clunky at times, and there’s been plenty of times where the sim/game I’ve used seems to register my shift late when compared to my clutch movements. There’s plenty of faster shifts I’ve done in real life a million times that doesn’t input correctly for me. I’m not sure if this is an input lag situation, or just a difference in the feel, or something else. The gates are also unrealistically close together from anything I’ve driven, it can take a bit to get used to where each gear is. Expect to shift from 5th to 3rd, or any other combination of mixing gears up, from time to time…especially at first.Over all, for the price, I’m giving it 5/5. I don’t think there’s another 6 speed H pattern shifter within the price range that works as well and feels at home with the more budget friendly G series wheels from Logitech. Just make sure you’re aware of the compatibility of this shifter: it uses a serial wire end instead of USB, and will only plug and play out of the box with those Logitech wheels. Otherwise, you may be able to use the G adapter for PC, but I’d check compatibility if you’re not using it with a G29, G920, or G923.

Improves The Fun Factor in Gran Turismo 7
Sure the paddle shifters on the steering wheel work, but it just isn't realistic when driving stick-shift cars in Gran Turismo. This solves that problem. So much more fun, now!
