Solarfast Dye Wash 8 Oz

This is essential for using with solarfast dyes. without it, my image mostly bled out and was not "visible" -- the whole fabric is dyed. This seems to keep the dye to the proper area. And definitely, if you use fabric, throw it in the washing machine on HOT after exposing, with 4 capsules of this. With this method, it works. Without it, I could not get the dye alone to work.

This has such clear instructions. I had so much fun playing around with this. I was making t-shirts for my band, and this was a fairly cheap way to get started in Sun printing a photo negative onto t-shirts. They all came out differently, which makes for a really personal and special touch.

This made ALL the difference in dying large pieces of fabric and getting a consistent wash.

I order this thinking I would be getting an 8oz bottle of solar fast wash but wash totally taken aback when I got it and saw that it was only 4oz. Didn't send it back because I really needed what I could get at the that moment. product heading says 8oz. picture shows 4oz. bottle. Should have paid more attention!

Works better with thicker application and much longer exposure.
