Ive been using this for a few weeks now, and I havent charged it yet. Id say im maybe 4-5 packs of cigarettes in? So far I have no issues, the top feels like it wont stay closed, but the magnet is just barely doing its job. It hasnt been open in my pocket or anything, and for those who need to flip it upside down, it stays open pretty well. The size is like haveing a flashlight, or maybe 2 c cell batteries. It has some weight to it so its easy to find in your pocket.

I bought this because my torch lighter is not tsa approved. This works good enough for light cigars although the arc diameter is only slightly larger than a cigarette. The entire lighter is about the size of a 60 ring cigar. So yes you have to move it and touch it to the cigar to light it. But it is wind proof which makes it better than matches. The only real problem I’ve experienced was the hinge pin that holds the lid on likes to pop out. It usually sticks to one of the magnets in the lid so I haven’t lost it yet. Also the magnet that closes the lid pops out often. If you put it in upside down the lid won’t stay shut and good luck getting the magnet back out. There are two magnets that hold the lid shut. For five stars I would make the plasma surface larger. Put a tapered pin in the hinge or something that won’t fall out and glue the magnets inside the cover. For the price I feel it does the job of a book of matches better than matches.

I was hesitant to buy but compared to other similar items-this was much cheaper & appeared to be same quality. I took a chance & bought this. I love it! It is excellent quality. Would recommend this product to anyone especially for the price!

Product works, but is not at all as described or pictured. I ordered a 3-arc grey/black lighter for large pipes and received a 2-arc gold lighter. The box it came in says "triple arc" but it is clearly not. It’s not powerful enough for what I need it for and the gold color is rather ugly. All in all, a functional electronic lighter, but not at all what I ordered. I’d recommend going with a different seller.

 This thing is super cool! It works exactly like advertised! Bought it for my father, he is extremely pleased! It is the most useful gift for him because he smokes a lot. It can be use in any whether condition like this cold and windy winter here right now, ignite his cigarette without any issues. Very easy to use, no instruction needed! Rechargeable! Everything is perfect! Very satisfied with this purchase!

No more butane fumes for me! I wondered whether or not it would work, not having a flame to be drawn down into the bowl as one inhaled. It surpassed my expectations, easily igniting everything right down to ash. It's quite solid and heavy, with a body apparently made from heavy gauge stainless steel. I have no idea how it will behave after long use, but nothing raising any reason to worry either. My only minor disappointments are mostly stylistic. I would have preferred the micro USB charging port to be on the side so that the lighter could stand on its base while being charged. And I would have preferred an irising dome top that would not protrude past its cylindrical boundaries when opened as the simple and traditional flip-top does.Well, after a few days I have to tamp down my enthusiasm a bit. The lighter still works perfectly, but how well it lights what's in the bowl depends a lot on how easy whatever's (left) in there will light without the benefit of heat from a flame. So for most bowls so far it's worked great! For others though, especially unground, or resinous remains not so well, so a good torch lighter still has its place.

Very cheaply made but then again if it's too good to be true you know that saying didn't even work out of the box only two of the arcs or working the third nothing plus the pin that holds the lid on completely fell out so had no lid or cap says you can use for pipe no you can't there's no heat and it doesn't get hot enough to spark anything you actually have to put the ark on the end of the cigarette or the cigar or pipe I do not recommend stick with a butane torch

Pretty cool. Never heard of these. I got tired or carrying traditional lighters which I would rarely use, but when I did, it was always out of fluid (dried up). With this, haven't had that problem. It's always been ready to use. And lights items very quickly! One note, it is a very wide lighter, especially when the lid folded back. It does not fit in tight spaces. In case where I can fit the lighter, I use a toothpick and light that first. Again, that toothpick ignites very quickly when in contact with the lighter.
