Great kettle. The reason why I am only awarding 4 stars is the base is in the kettle!! I thought that Amazon forgot to post the base and until someone told me to check the inside of the kettle it was being returned!!! I think you should put a sticker on the outside of the box to check inside of kettle for base haha

A bit angular and doesn't seem particularly well engineered, the lid is a bit stiff and it doesn't sit well on its base, but it works, boils water quickly enough and hasn't broken.

Bought this to replace another which had given up working after a few years. We liked the original so much and wanted to get the same again and, at this price, it was fine to do so.

Works great, lasted my whole time at uni (3 years). Only got rid of it cause a friend gave me a better one.

a brilliant price for a simple and brilliant kettle, that is robust and hasn't broken yet like all my others have.i got sick of paying such hight prices for something that would always break soon. so this was the cheapest one I could find, not a beauty, but I don't care, it works- i love it.
