This backpack met my needs for light carrying of school items. I was able to fit a laptop, a 1in binder, and an expanding file organizer in it all comfortably. The straps were very comfortably padded and the fit was also comfortable for my 5'3'' frame. The straps could easily be adjusted for taller individuals. I love the canvas material and the sturdiness of it as well.My only complaint is that the bottle pockets on the outside were not easy to use when the backpack is filled.
