B.P.R.D: 1946-1948 Hardcover – June 16, 2015

Very gorgeous book. Inside and outside, absolutely loved this book, one of my favorites.You don't need Hellboy to write a great a dark paranormal book.They explore Vampires and Witches in this book, and it's a much better value to buy this instead of three separate trades.The art is on point and so is the storytelling.You do not need to know Hellboy or any other BPRD stuff to enjoy this book,it's stand alone.

Good stuff here. LOTS of it in fact. But some that, honestly, just doesn't work for me. I won't go into detail because what fails to grab me may grab YOU like GANGBUSTERS!All I can say, at the end, is that Hellboy and B.P.R.D fans are better off having these stories than not.

My husband was asking for this book for this birthday. Although I did not read it, he really enjoyed the book and wants to continue the series. I will be getting the next one .

An excellent addition to the Hellboy universe, it examines more of the professors part in the bprd and the sort of burden he must carry while taking care of supernatural obstacles, if you want more of the Hellboy universe or even as a jumping off point, I recommend.

BPRD 1946-1948 is a great read and tells a pre-history of the organization before Hellboy grew up and joined. It also relates The Professor's love life and how he had to balance work with being a Dad.

My boyfriend loves this series and this book was a great addition to his collection! It came in with a little damage but I can’t complain for the shipping time

With Hellboy a secondary character in this series, the spotlight falls on Trevor broom and his nascent organization. No one other than Sanders has any supernatural abilities (read to find out why). But the taught pacing and great characters make this worth reading.

Bought this book and returned it for a replacement twice. All three books were damaged and none of them were new. Stay away!

A very cool book and a nice way to getting a closer look at the early days of the BPRD and Bruttenholm's years during Hellboy's childhood and adolescence.Some of the artwork was not to my taste, I have to admit, but the quality is still very high, even the stuff I really didn't care for, and most of it is very good indeed.The stories are well written with, though some of them tip their hand a bit early to anyone familiar with the genre and with Mignola's other work, but overall the pace keeps well, with enough interesting twists and turns to hold a readers' interest.A good read, and highly recommended.

Received in poor condition. Dust cover was torn and crumbled. Binding is so bad that the pages are already loose. A real shame as the content is fantastic

Absolutely brilliant. The contents is uno numero. Wish the dust covers had come in better condition without the occasional scratch, bending of the edges and rub marks that cant be removed.

My other half really enjoyed this book - a great buy.

I received the book in poor condition. It was supposed to be a gift but didn't expect that the book will be in bad & poor quality. It is supposed to be NEW but looks it was used and have been read several times. Dust cover is damaged and the spine is totally ripped off from the pages. My brother would like to have it added to his collection but I was totally disappointed with the quality of the book. Totally RIPPED OFF this time!!!!
