The Kayalu Gear Locking Suction GoPro® Hero Camera Mount is a rugged mount, manufactured by RAM Mounting Systems and enhanced with the addition of Kayalu marine-grade accessories suitable for use in saltwater and freshwater environments. This mount provides a unique opportunity for you to secure your Hero using a locking vacuum cup design similar to the mechanical suction cups used by professional glass installers. This suction cup is capable of gripping any non-porous surface (glass, steel, fiberglass, enamel, plastic, etc.). This mount is engineered for use with any model GoPro Hero. At the head of this mount is a RAM Mounts adaptor capable of providing a loss-proof connection to the camera, no inadvertant unscrewing of a factory GoPro® Tripod Adaptor or a GoPro® acorn nut / thumbscrew. The adaptor's ball allows for full 360-degree pan/tilt as well as easy release for hand-held use. The adaptor is constructed of high-strength composite with stainless steel bolt, washer and nylon-insert locknut (included). Height of this GoPro mount is 15.5" from deck surface to camera base. The mount's Toughbar® extension arm is constructed of stainless steel and aluminum, providing flexibility in positioning the camera. The mount's handles can be loosened individually, repositioned, and tightened with one hand. The mount can be affixed to a kayak, paddle board, boat, car windshield by power-locking its vacuum grip to a smooth non-porous surface. To remove the mount, simply twist the lock counter-clockwise and pull up a small rubber tab. A nylon-coated tether and steel breech clip secures the mount and camera if bumped or disengaged.
