this illustrates you get what you pay for, altho i balked at the price i took a chance and im very happy. its nice and the base is esp nice. it looks sturdy and well made. i will enjoy using this, my other grater fell apart and was a waste of money so i will enjoy this i think, i got the idea from a you tube video an italian cook used one. yea!
