Wildflowers of New York in Color Paperback – November 1, 1998

I bought this for my daughter-n-law. She and my son bought a new home and have been asking about the flowers near their house. She loves the book.

This is easily the best wildflower book I have on my shelf. It is perfect for the average layman nature lover (myself included). The photos are large, clear and accurate, but what makes the book for me is the way it organizes the flowers by color. This makes it so much easier to find and identify any unknown plant. I highly recommend this book to any NYS nature lover.

Bought it for my neighbor who was giving it to her son for Father's Day. She was pleased with the quick turnaround ans as an amature artist she was very pleased with the illustrations.

Beautiful book

I really like this book...it's large enough to contain a great amount of information but small enough to carry with you. I take it with me when we go for rides, walks, and bike riding and it's the pictures are clear and close enough to easily identify flowers that we see. I like the way that it's organized by colors from white to brown. The ONLY minus is that not all the flower pictures show the leaves.

Just received this book and will be very handy to check the flowers out.

The service from Amazon is excellent. There are pages missing toward the back of this book and some are mixed up. But rather going to the trouble of sending it back I kept it.
