Excellent sound for the price but it won't play everything.
I bought this player because of it's aesthetic appeal (it looks like something from the 50's) and it had good ratings. The sound quality is excellent for such a small player and it looks good in a bedroom / living room. The sound isn't gonna be top, top quality but decent enough for most people. I have since connected this player to Logitech Z333 speakers and sub-woofer, which makes the sound much better and much louder. There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of bass on vinyl records compared to digital but everything else sounds better (the voice, instruments) so keep this in mind if you're a bass junkie. While playing from an I-Pod (via bluetooth) the bass was punchy, playing the same song on LP, the bass wasn't anywhere near as good. The player will skip on certain records, usually at the start of the record. This could be the tone arm (too heavy) or because the player is uneven. Regardless it won't play some songs. It seems to skip on heavier vinyl at the start if it's gonna do it. This can also happen with loud drums etc... Phil Collins Serious Hits Live won't play at all and various other albums like Elvis If I Can Dream and Amy Macdonald Woman of the World skip on certain songs. [at the start of the record, both heavy vinyl.] At best this player is a introduction to vinyl. You will need to get a much better turntable if you plan on playing all your songs. But for the price, the sound is engaging and excellent when connected to better speakers. Even the built in speakers aren't terrible. The record player won't connect to Alexa via Bluetooth. Alexa can't find the player (via the app or the echo), you have to connect Alexa via the headphone socket (on Alexa) with an aux lead to the player. Or you can connect Alexa to separate speakers / a sub-woofer via an aux lead, the speakers / sub already connected to the record player with a red and white cable. The Logitech Z333 (speakers / sub) will allow you to connect two things at once, the speakers and the sub to the record player via red and white connection leads and Alexa via the 3.5 mm aux cable to the sub. The best of both worlds! But keep in mind, my I-Pod sounds better via the record player's Bluetooth than Alexa does via the aux cable to the sub-woofer. Shame Alexa won't connect to the record player via Bluetooth.Keep in mind that while the lid does close completely it has gaps in it, so that the record can spin, which means when not in use, dust can get in there. If you don't want this then a briefcase model might be better. This player doesn't have a lifter, you have to lift the needle yourself and drop it on the record. I wish I'd known this beforehand, it can be a little annoying when choosing a song on an album, but it's not a deal breaker.Vinyl has grown in sales every year for the last 14 years and apparently it now outsells CD! This is still a small percentage compared to digital downloads but there is a reason it is gaining traction again. People are bored of (just) digital files and want something tangible to hold. They want to see the artwork and watch the record spinning. You have to actually listen to the record and turn it over. It's not an afterthought just to be ignored in the background. I do wish the bass was better on vinyl but it does sound overall sharper and clearer to me than digital.

Looks great and the sound is crisp.
Retro meets contemporary with this vinyl record player and we love it. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing on the eye. Comes with two wired speakers with no bells, whistles or flashing led's which is what I want with a nostalgic piece of kit. It plays two sizes of records namely 45 and 33⅓ RPM but cannot play 78's which I don't need it to anyway so all good.Very easy to set up and install, we were good to go in minutes. The on/off switch doubles as the volume control. I did have one Elvis record which had always jumped/skipped during a certain song but because the arm of this player has an adjustable counterweight, I was able to fix the problem by adjusting the weight at the back of the arm. The speakers are attached by a supplied Audio cable which clasp both into the speakers and the rear of the player. We found the sound of the speakers to be very good while playing records. Treble and bass was so good that we could easily hear the 'crackling' from the records. Brings back so many memories.Where the contemporary comes into it is that there is a bluetooth function activated at the rear of the player. The emitted sound from the bluetooth function is even better if you don't wish to hear the 'crackling' sound of the vinyl records but to be honest, we prefer playing the records. I wish there was an option to add a video to let you hear the sound but alas, Amazon isn't offerring the option for now.A fantastic buy in our opinion and would not hesitate in recommending this player. If you found this review of some use, please consider clicking helpful below. Fully functional version would be fine.
Arrived quickly but one speaker output didn’t work.Seller refunded which was nice. The mechanism for automatically lifting the swing-arm was imprecise and a bit fiddly and it wasn’t consistent in function which meant the needle sometimes came down too quickly on the records.Sound was generally acceptable even with only one functional speaker but we did end up replacing it with a more expensive model that had a better mechanism.

Great turntable
The media could not be loaded. This is a great turntable, which came with 2 full range stereo speakers. They were well protected with foam rubber and plastic cover, no noticeable damages or dust.Unpacking and setting up were very easy, requiring no additional tools. Having followed the instructions on the manual, I managed to get this turntable to spin and sound in less than 15 minutes. The design, finish and quality construction of the turntable and speakers are very good given the price. The performance has met all my expectations. The high quality diamond stylus protects vinyl records from being scratched and prevents needle jump while the turntable is spinning. The speakers (25W each) product a clear and balanced sound. It can be connected to any modern sound systems also. The built-in Bluetooth functionality allows me to hook up my phone/tablet with the speakers.

Works and sound is Good
It doesnt work particularly well with my stacking system and this turntable was hopefully to replace my turntable whilst i sorted out why the old table ran slow. That said on its own it works well and sound is good the auto stop doesnt seem to work, and the fittings are hard to use
