Review: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE - I LOVED this book!!! I loved that we were able to continue with the story of Sal and Grace and the stories of Sarah and Angel and Sofia and Eric and Alex and Val, and were able to show just how One person can go from being his parents worst nightmare as a teen to an amazing brother who would do anything so that his little brother wouldnt get into trouble. Rose and Vince are probably onc of my favorite couples. They go from being friends to becoming lovers over the summer. When he comes and works with Sal at the restruant for the summer he knew he wanted to change and become a better person and to prove to his parents and sal they he can change. Rose was the reason for that change in him, she showed him how to fall in love with someone over the summer and then once summer was over and they were apart fro each other he knew he couldnt be with out her. Living 2 and a half house away from her was killing him not being able to see her every day like he had all summer so he would drive over on the weekends and visit her. Once he got back home and found his brother with drugs and found out that his neighbor gave them to him to took matters into his own hands and tried to reutrn them but his neighbor Anita tried to have him keep them at his house. Her dad was a drunk and when he herd her talking to someone he would beat her and once vince couldnt take it anymore he took matter into his own hands and started to beat him but for beating her. Sending him to boot camp was probably the best thing for him in the end, his brother stopped doing dangerous stuff. Once vince told rose that he was going to boot camp he never wanted to hurt her. When he was given the chance to go to Iraq he took it cuz she never wrote him back from all the letter he sent her, while he was in Iraq he only thought of her and when he was able to get back to see her he didnt want to let her go and she didnt want to let him go either..
Review: Fate (Fate #1) review - This highly anticipated new book is a great kick start to a new series by Reyes. I LOVE that the Moreno family line is carrying on in this spin off series from the Moreno Brother series. If you have not read the Moreno Brothers series first...then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? This family is such a highly entertaining, funny, overbearing, bossy/possessive, loving and a caring group of characters that it makes me want to be a a Moreno myself. If ever there were a book family, with extended relatives, that I would ever want to belong to, it would be the Moreno's. You really need to read the Moreno Brothers series before reading Fate to really fully get and appreciate the family dynamics. What I love about Fate: 1. Rose & Vince 2. The entire Moreno clan & pseudo family members 3. Flipping between Now & Then time periods 4. The cover of this book... LOVE LOVE LOVE it 5. Vince is a military man (I love books that involve the military being as I grew up an Army Brat myself) 6. Bra w/Mom convo 7. The Reunion 8. Lorenzo AKA: Enzo 9. The epilogue -This family just cracks me up during this. "I don't do cheese but this family is relentless." About the book: We first meet Rose and Vincent in Making You Mine as they meet at a Moreno family baby shower. They are both in high school and start a relationship over one summer. Their story is a side story in that book. In Fate we get to see parts of that story and how it went after Making You Mine ended. Rose and Vincent's relationship has never been easy. Vincent lives 2 hours away and follows the rest of the Moreno men in the traits of jealousy and being possessive. lol He's working out a way to be with Rose in the same city when things go down hill for him and all of a sudden he finds himself in the Army. Rose works for the Moreno family business and is off to college to play soccer. Which she is awesome at. Her and Vincent go through a long trial and they both are trying to over come the heartache and struggles that come their way because of this. At some point in the story Enzo becomes a good friend and confidant to Rose, which I loved, as Rose finally figures some things out and what to do next. (He turns out to be such a great guy.) Also during that time something happens with Vince, as the family is on pins and needles awaiting answers, he uses the memories of Rose to fight his way back to her... to where they both belong, with each other. I loved this book. I cried in the prologue, the epilogue and parts in between.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautifully sweet and sexy!
*by M***E on November 12, 2012*

The Fate series is a spinoff of the Moreni Brothers. This author can really write an intriguing alpha male perfectly and this book did not disappoint. Vincent and Rose's story is one of my favorites. They come from similar worlds that are really a million miles apart. Both grew up in difficult circumstances, except Rose's sister Grace married Sal Moreno, Vincent's cousin, putting her in a better place financially, but they are still unable to gain the family's acceptance of their relationship. Vincent is a good guy with a bad boy reputation. He has the bad luck to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A lot. Grace, Rose's sister, worries that Vincent will break her sister's heart. Vincent tries to make it work and prove to them all he has changed and it's starting to happen until he makes a bad decision for the right reason and loses it all. Vincent was much more intriguing and multi-dimensional than Rose. I found myself rooting for him. It's a sweet love story with a hero that loves deeply and a young woman who faces tragedy and the loss of something more precious than she ever realized. One of my favorites by this author.
