Staple Gun - Light Duty Stapler for Home, Office or Upholstery Work - Uses 13/4, 13/6 or 13/8 Staples - Silver

First of all, this may be the only review (as of 8/26/15) that is NOT a result of someone who got this stapler from the company for free/discounted as a solicited review.The stapler appears to be fine, comfortable in the hand and easy enough to pull. The orange grip looks like it will fall off with use though. I was unable to actually use the stapler however, and have to return at my own expense (since nothing is technically wrong with it...). I was not able to find staples that fit this gun after several days of looking around locally (e.g. Home Depot, local stores, etc...). The closest I came was Arrow JT21 staples, which might have fit but were so snug of a fit that half the strip snapped off and I had to use pliers to remove them. Online searches yielded results from overseas companies, mainly UK for some reason... I don't feel like paying $17.00/1000ct. Further investigation found that 13/4-6-8 staples are a proprietary size made by Rapid (Europe based company). I may live in a 13/4-6-8 staple depraved area of the US (Oregon?), but that seems unlikely.Long story short, if you live in the US be ready to be driven mad by unavailability of proper staples. My recommendation (and what I did), buy an Arrow T50 for the same price and you can find staples anywhere for about $3.00/1000ct. On top of that, the T50 stapler is made in the US and is built like a beast. Dont lose money like I did, just buy a quality staple gun to begin with....

I was having wayyyyy too many jamming issues with the stapler gun I purchased from Michaels, so I decided to give this one a try because of the review. Unfortunately, I can't try this stapler since it DOESN'T fit the same staples I have from the Michaels stapler. Gonna have to purchase new staples.

Was so impressed with the value, we bought 7 moreUPDATE: Originally very pleased that we bought a lot more, now wish we had not. They are failing regularly and jamming, plus the staple tray will not stay closed all the time.Avoid them and get something else.

This staple gun and Swingline staples did not work! Unfortunately, I didn't try it until it was too late to send back! I even went to the local hardware store to try a different kind of staples and they didn't work either!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice, sturdy staple gun that was easy to use for a first timer like myself. My husband has experience using a staple gun and thought that this staple gun was very comfortable to use. He had to get the staples from Lowes because the standard ones didn't fit. It's easy to load the staples in the gun and in my video you will show you how well the staples adhere to the wood.I received this product for at a discount or for free for my honest review. This Staple Gun is great for all kinds of projects. It's for light duty jobs but is very durable. It's made of carbon steel and weighs approximatley 15.5oz. It's small and compact size is 7" x 3.2" x .75". There is an orange rubber grip in the handle area that can come out for easy cleaning. This makes the staple gun a lot more comfortable to use for a long period of time. Imprinted on the side you will find the staple model so it makes it easy to order staples. Also imprinted on the side are the size staples it takes. It will hold size 13/4 with 6mm and 8mm staples. Depeding on your project you can also use 13/6 or 13/8 staples. It will hold a total of 120 staples. It has a rear loading magazine which can be slid out when staples get jammed. There is a safety loop on the handle which makes it great for storage and do make sure you dn't accidently shoot staples out. Overall, this staple gun is great for all kinds of crafts and projects around your home. I would highly recommend this. I received this product to test in exchange for my honest and unbiase review.

I got this for my husband , who is in bad need of a new staple gun. However, I found that I am the one that is probably going to end up using it.This is nice and lightweight and easy enough for me to even use with my hands. I am disabled and have nerve damage from neck surgery, so using tools like this is always a challenge. This staple gun is easy enough for me to use and isn't so heavy that it hurts me to hold.I used it to hang up some dried ears of corn that are on pieces of string, in our trees. I had to staple the string onto the trees. The best part was, i didn't have to ask my husband to come and do the job for me!! I can not tell you have awesome it felt to actually do something for myself again!!The staples went in nice and deep and I didn't have to restaple them at all!! I love my Ikea barstools with the replaceable covers but with kids in the house, I prefer them to be a little more securely fastened and this did the job for all my barstools in about 5 minutes. When I'm ready to replace them, I can just use a staple remover and do the same thing to the replacements. You do need to press pretty hard while stapling to keep the staples flush, but that's true with every stapler I've ever used. The trigger was easy enough for me to pull it, but hard enough to prevent my kiddo from using it without help. I was good with that. We do a lot of craft projects in addition to my son's school projects and this is going to come in very handy the next time we have to build a bird feeder out of recyclable materials. I'd recommend it.
