This sweet set of barrettes come in pairs, with the exception of four[=] barrettes. There are 6 pairs that have the same coloration on top. but they don't have the same shapes. Then there are 4 individual barrettes barrettes without matches. For the most part, all the barrettes look like they have been cut from mineral formations in rocks. They are that BEAUTIFUL. They look like they could be heavy, but they are not. They hold hair very securely because on one side of the hair clip has a toothed edge and the other side is smooth.This is genuinely a very nice set of barrettes! Each and every barrette is wrapped in cellophane and they are suitable for gifting individually or as a whole set. I highly recommend this set of barrettes. You won't be disappointed!

These aren’t exactly what I was expecting, but the clips are nice. The decorative part is fairly thick and would certainly interfere with hats and sunglasses. I don’t know that a young child would get much use from them, and they are certainly not good for toddlers (see photos of my 3 year old granddaughter), unless they have unusually substantial hair. I will use them as I grow out my bangs. My hair is quite thin and the clips stay in place well. My daughter has thick hair and doesn’t think they hold tight enough. I have had an issue with my hair getting caught, but that may be more attributable to wind. I wish there were two identical clips instead of two different shapes for each pattern. The clips seem like they would be hard to break.

This 16 piece set of various colored and patterned hair clips is great. I’m always having to pin back bangs or my shorter layers of hair that come loose from a pony tail when kickboxing and the flipping hair drives me crazy so these are perfect for that. They seem to be really sturdy and good quality. I especially love the black and white polka dots and checkered patterns! They’d be great for girls too who can easily squeeze and clip hair in place on each side by themselves. The only con is that no two are exactly alike, so for those that need to match on each side that might be an issue. But there’s some pattern matches even if the shade is a tad different. It’s not a deal breaker.

I thought these barrettes would be great for my daughter. I was pleasantly surprised when they came in. They came in a box and were individually packaged in plastic bags for protection (they're acrylic). They're actually very heavy and very well made. They do well with thicker hair and have great grip. They're also a bit larger than your normal barrettes. The overall quality is great.If you're looking for matching sets, you may need to look elsewhere (or potentially grab two sets). That aside I like them a lot and they look absolutely adorable on my daughter.

In addition to this being average quality, my reason for a 3 star is because there are no matching sets. You DO have matching patterns but its two different shapes/styles. I think this will make it difficult to wear more than one at the same time, which seems pretty pointless. If you're a person who likes one clip, to section off one side of your hair to pull back/behind your ear, these may not be long enough. I think they would be nice for a little girl but not for an adult. I hope this helps :)

This is a nice assortment of hair clips. Colors are very nice and subtle. Very easy to find a complimentary clip for whatever your wearing. These seem very well made and they stay in place very well. About the only real complaint is that despite having colors that match the shapes don't match. You can have matching shapes with different colors or matching colors with different shapes, but you can't have both. This causes issues for us OCD folks. Still a nice set of clips.

Clips were really pretty and had teeth on the clips which I loved meaning you could pull back a bit more hair and it had a better grip than regular bow clips. The reason for 4 stars is when I opened it, 3 of the clips had broke- the acryclic design had fell off from the clip itself. I was able to fix them with a glue gun. A better adhesive would've gotten 5 stars from me. Haven't had any issues with the others and my kids wear them almost everyday.

These barrettes are great for me and my girls. There is a wide assortment of barrettes, colors, and patterns on them. They're all pretty and work well to clip and hold hair without problems. My 4 yr old doesn't usually like doing much with her hair but she was excited to try these barrettes out and actually left it in her hair. My 7 yr old and 18 mo old are also enjoying these. These are great and come in handy to have around to use.
