Great entertainment center once you manage to get it put together
Fairly solid entertainment center, not too difficult to put together. Unlike the previous review, mine arrived in good condition. It came in two separate boxes packed with foam around the edges so the minor dents in the box didn't translate to damaged pieces like I was afraid they would. Unboxing is fairly straightforward and the instructions were surprisingly clear. I built it by myself but since some of the pieces are heavy and awkwardly large it would have been a lot faster and easier with two, especially once you go to put the top portion on.You put the base together and stand up all 4 walls plus the back pieces, then you set the top on and need to line up the dowel pins in the walls with the top which is the hard part since nothing is really solid until you get the top on. After that, it should be smooth sailing. The "should" is why this is only 4 stars instead of 5. I had to make a couple minor modifications to make everything work together. The mid rear wall was a little too long so I had to shave a tiny bit off to get the top to seat properly. After that when I went to put the right door on, one of the hinges was too high and it prevented the door from closing but that was pretty easily fixed by moving it down 1/8 inch. Finally, the holes for the door handles weren't drilled deep enough to let the screws go through them but again a fairly easy fix.Overall, definitely not the worse experience I've had building something and provided you have some basic tools at home then it's a good buy! The lighting is pretty poor in the picture but hopefully you get the idea.

Solid, sturdy. But arrives damaged
Nice entertainment center. Sturdy and solid and looks great. Would be even better if you could find one of these locally at a store for this price because it came damaged. Amazon is great. Replaced it right away. Then... The 2nd one came damaged. Both times the packaging was so poor. A little padding would do them good. It's a huge pain in the a** to repack this thing in the 2 giant boxes it came in so I guess I'll just keep it and try to cover the large ding in both doors with one of those wood markers. (The 1st one arrived with the whole base frame cracked so that was more then a blemish).
