Big price increase by reducing quantity.
This is my favorite coffee, bar none, but.............did they ever snooker me with the price increase from last time I ordered it a few months before. The old price was $11.48 a bag of 32 oz. The new price was also $11.48 a bag BUT, you only get 24 oz.....! That's a price increase of 33.33 percent!! So, fair warning.......best to shop around.

Bag was sliced open.
When I received the four bags of coffee beans, one bag was slit open, I assume by a box knife. Loose beans were in the box. Just FYI

“The goodLife begins with gr8coffee!”⛓️
Awesome coffeebeans things cost more now I didn’t have to give up flavor to fit this in my budget‼️I love starting my day with a quick fresh grind take in that full bodied aroma natural flavor, quality & you don’t have to use a lot. ample silky quantity for the value. it actually keeps my favorite starb*’c/$for a less money to budget elsewhere☕️Did I mention how Great this coffee is?!😂I even use the coffee grinds. Maybe a quick scrub on your face sometimesI mix it with honey or cinnamon and I let it sit on my face while I enjoy my 1st cup of coffee other days I exfoliate hands and elbowsAnd or Add to body wash for a light loofah ing everywhere 🧽🫧🛀just don’t clog that drain.I also noticed when I premake a cold coffee for the next day from what is left in the carafe ( sometimes I rerun it with lil more water and it’s not as strong which is fine, Im happy to notice that it doesn’t separate like cheaper coffees wouldthen I can take that on the goI definitely recommend thisproduct for your consideration

Good coffee
I'm not very picky about coffee, but I know I like it simple and strong. I prefer a dark roast with my hot and cold brew. I've been brewing Community Coffee Signature Blend for quite some time. In comparison, Hills Bros. Dark Satin roast smells and tastes better to me because I nearly double the recommended bean/water ratio. Even so, it also costs less per ounce. It's definitely going to have a place in future Subscribe & Save deliveries.

Great on Sale
I purchased the Dark Satin variety of Hills Bros when it was on sale for under $0.40 per ounce. It's remarkably good for being that inexpensive. As far as store-bought mass market coffees go, this is near the top. Far, far better than Starbucks or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf bagged coffee. In terms of quality, I think it's up there with Dunkin, Caribou, and Gevalia. In terms of flavor, it's nice and dark without being bitter. (For context, I always drink my coffee with a little milk/cream. Depending on the flavor, I sometimes add a touch of sweetener.)

Doesn't hold up for long
Tastes pretty good when just brewed, but an old coffee taste sets in after a couple of hours in the pot (12-cup drip). Peet's and others stay tasting good for the day.

Best coffee! Good value.
I have ordered this coffee ( Dark Satin) multiple times on Amazon. It is one of the best tasking whole bean coffees I have had in recent years. Very smooth tasting. My son-in-law recently had to ditch the cream and sugar and says that this coffee actually “tastes just as good black”. My guests always complement me on this coffee too. I did look to see how long a bag last our family. We make 12 cups a day and it generally lasts us a month.
