My basket is 3”.** A: Not sure what is the correct answer based your question, but you purchase a filter that is consistent with the diameter of the basket that catch the grinds that is then consistent with the diameter of the coffee processor and the amount of coffee/water that can be used for the processor. If basket and the processor are 3 inch, the filter has to be 3 inch . **Q: What country is it made in?** A: Made in China. They are pretty thin and apparently made of crimped stainless mesh.
